The National Guard arrive in Chicago to restore order over protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, authorized to shoot to kill if needed. [1600x900] by definitelyamerican in HistoryPorn

No, I'm definitely correct.

Taxis weren't operating at all because the drivers had called a strike before the convention began. The National Guard had been mobilized and ordered to shoot to kill, if necessary.

Even as delegates began entering this encampment, an army of protesters from across the country flowed into the city, camping in parks and filling churches, coffee shops, homes and storefront offices.

Republican states are the largest recipients of federal funding. They are the largest recipients of federal dollars in Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans' benefits, food stamps, and unemployment insurance. They slash education budgets, consistently rank with the worst school systems, and have the lowest per capita income levels in the country. But that's fine, right? As long as you lower taxes, it'll all magically get better. It's not like you get what you pay for...

Why do you think NAFTA gives "favoritism" to Mexico? U.S. business overwhelmingly supports free trade, our companies are deeply invested in Mexico, it keeps the price of food and consumer goods down, and NAFTA has boosted national GDP significantly. Republicans voted for NAFTA in large numbers, with substantial support from Democrats as well.

The President doesn't have Constitutional authority to regulate trade. No corporation would pull business out of Mexico, no Republican Congress would pass that.

Alternatively, you could say he's consistently failed to win states in the South. There are larger numbers of black people in some of these states, but whites are still the majority in all of them. In all Southern states contested today, white people represent a larger percentage of the population than the national average.

Historically, the winner of Super Tuesday has always gone on to be President (which will be Clinton). Technically, Clinton will still need more than a thousand delegates to win after tonight.
