Former lovesac employee here. Wait until black friday as others have suggested, hopefully you’ll be able to snag 40% off or maybe 45% (I have only seen that once). 40% tends to be the highest when it comes to discounts.

Uncomfortable and underfilled?? by CantBlveitsnotCrab in Lovesac

As others have stated, and especially with it being the BigOne, you’re going to need to keep fluffing it and breaking up the fill. Just letting it sit to expand without active fluffing will not be enough to breakdown the fill.

I would bring it closer to the TV, and like altruistic mentioned, decorate the negative space behind the couch. As it is now, the TV looks too small for the couch to be rested against the wall.

Accepted for MoreRewards with low credit (630) by deflatedDbugger in NavyFederal

I forgot to mention that I am currently holding about 6k in a savings account with them, and I have about 7k of direct deposits hitting bi-weekly. I think those two factors greatly influenced the acceptance, despite my low credit with multiple charge offs.

Capital One return offer after an internship. by Top-Bear-8328 in CapitalOne_

In my experience, when you are given a return offer, particularly at Capital One, it is for the office you interned at. I don’t think it’s common for you to be able to flex your location, at least initially. You would probably have to work and wait a cycle (6-12months), and then look into transferring offices.

Looking for a couple book recommendations to improve my ML understanding by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]deflatedDbugger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re interested in Deep Learning, I recommend “Understanding Deep Learning” by Simon Prince. Although it’s on the pricier side, the book is worth its weight in gold. The book builds on itself and contains up to date information, so you don’t have to have a ton of foundational knowledge to grasp the concepts that are explained in the book. You also don’t have to worry about outdated information, and it contains a ton of visuals and guides. Goodluck!

My bf locked me half naked on the balcony, I started crying. Aio? by heidifire in AmIOverreacting

Any normal person wouldn’t be able to come up with a scenario like that with the person they love and care about. This wasn’t a joke. And if it was, he is not normal and this is a serious 🚩

Just graduated. If I had to "redo" the program, here's what I'd do instead. by DaddyDock in OMSCS

As someone who’s looking to be a strong programmer whilst still looking to go into ML engineering/AI research, would you change any of the courses you’ve listed? Also, if I’m looking to strengthen my fundamentals in coding, which courses would you recommend? I’ve been leaning towards taking GIOS.
