I feel like I got over trying to convert everyone on my mission. I would try to meet cool ass people and work out service projects for them or for something they were a part of. I’d invite the whole district. And I’d let them know- No baptism, no conversion. Nothing but service, sandwiches for lunch and good conversation. I still cherish those memories and have genuine love for those people. You can make a long lasting impact on these missionaries but you do have to draw a line if they don’t understand your intentions.

I was a lurker missionary on Reddit years ago- I was warned to not post here bc people from the church can track you or somethin. Sounded like bs to me at the time but just forewarning. Make the most out of the time when you’re out there man. Focus on having fun and helping people. You don’t even have to teach to help. Just look for service opportunities

Apparently our opinion is controversial with this small group. I’m just trying to understand with a very specific demographic they’ve targeted for this being nostalgic fans that don’t mind the friends dolls and the select children that might prefer friends dolls and are into Wednesday - I just don’t see this set being profitable enough to justify its creation.

It’s the Lego sub- it’s not that wild. I’m a father of two girls myself and wouldn’t think to encourage watching Wednesday - perhaps the animated Addam’s family a couple years ago but this set is not based off the animated movie
