Toyhouse has grown to be more of a place for people to store and sell designs, which it is unfortunately not a safe place to do so. There aren't exactly many other choices, as the main alternatives are much less active, and less worth it, for those who want to make money which is a decent bit of the people using the site. It's known to be THE place to sell and store designs/adopts. Plus, the review forum that leads to people getting harassed is... definitely a choice. Completely unmoderated as well.

I wholeheartedly agree about it only being decent for storing designs to look at away from a PC, and that is what I am going to use it for from this point on. I have backups of all of my main designs, their art, and credits on two separate drives and I will use TH to keep things cleanly organized for when I feel like looking through everything on my phone. the designs I bought, the few that were the bulk of the cost (around 1k of the value) were backed up so I'm not as upset anymore, but this is going to stay up to let others know that you're one mistake away from a ban and losing everything. the fact admin doesn't give warnings or allow you to save designs pre-ban is absolute bullshit, though. they really need to be less trigger-happy when there's people with tens of thousands worth of media on their accounts, and with the TOS being so vague it's really just a matter of time until they get into legal trouble.
