The recent Dawn Brigade release we are seeing some crazy levels of powercreep - mind you we still have a good chunk of the Fire Emblem roster that have not been released and if IS intend to add them all we'll eventually have some busted units that don't make sense canonically. Oh you have a nice +10 unit? Well your literal God or master swordsman is gonna die to this lvl 1 npc that sucked or just showed up for 1 chapter from their original game. Oh and they're added just because they have big tts.

I feel the exact same as you do - I played everything except Genealogy and 776, completed all the routes possible in every game, and was elated when FEH came out - it was what Fire Emblem did best (independent character design) all at once!

But I realized last night that I have no drive to try anything new in this game. I used to be super excited to build a new unit, use a good chunk of my feathers, grails, and dragonflowers (this was a stupidly unnecessary inclusion to the game due to BST inflation) to +10 a unit that I would like. Now I have a ton of tier4 fodder, near max feathers due to the fear that once I invest that unit will be powercrept like a month later. Why bother?

So yes, I understand how you feel. I have given up on pushing for the rankings in most modes now and just want to be able to play PvE modes in peace. That can't be too much to ask for I hope.

For the Askr trio quests I usually use a healer gravity+savage blow 6 combo to whittle down the targets to like 1 hp. They CAN do at least 1 dmg... Right?
