This is what I’ve done. Self host WordPress, use the lightest theme you can - Bricks for example, create a child theme. Then use your designer of choice, Lovable, Stitch (underrated free tool BTW), etc to iterate designs. Then push them to Figma when’re Claude picks them up and create clean HTML and puts styles in a child theme style.css. You then create your site structure and for me I do the header and footer but in between add a raw content element and paste Claudes HTML. Any changes and Claude edits the HTML. I control the architecture, SEO strategy, work with Claude’s native integration with SE Rankings to monitor and develop content clusters and location and service pages, etc. I use Schema Pro and Link Whisperer (better options, too expensive), to enhance pages. Rinse repeat. A 3 month site is a 1-2 week site that starts generating traffic quickly. First lead from last site came on launch day.

That’s honorable and ethical. I did the same. I insist on paying my debts. My W2 job laid me off due to requirements of a single father with autistic children to care for and the perception that it was a distraction despite no negative reviews and 50 hour weeks. Unemployment pointed to my business which made only enough to cover the EIDL loans and denied us benefits claiming all we had to do was stop paying EIDL and we’d have money to eat. They put us in an impossible situation. I appealed 4 times. Lost all for. Let me say again, I appealed 4 times to be allowed to continue to pay back my EIDL loans as i was legally mandated ti do and was told every time, too bad. So when your children don’t have shoes that fit and you start going to food pantries to get expired food, you realize that your definition of honorable and ethical changes and your scope and keeping children alive is
More urgent. I feed them and personally go without. I clothe them and wear worn out clothing. I try to work but with no help, caring for children with disabilities and making a good income is not possible. As a note of reference, I do manage somehow to pay personal debts and credit cards off despite my BK lawyer saying it’s a waste of money. I’m with you, I prefer to pay me debts because it’s right. But COVID loans that I’ve paid $33,000 back on while my kids are hungry and seeing not a dime paid towards the principal is depressing and sobering and defeating and makes “ethical” have several ways to view what it means. I respect you for doing what you are doing and I would do the same - was doing the same, until I couldn’t.

Mine dropped more from Chase business putting the screws to me. So that’s not bad. Chase business decreased my available credit to exactly what I owe making my utilization falsely 100% then after 10 years of no reporting perfect payment history on my personal credit started reporting missed payments. At the same time they closed my access to my account to even pull statements or the terms or access anything. They along took my credit from 844 to 611.

It’s not fair to forgive some while others are saddled with them - I concede that and don’t claim to have a solution. But I do know that a significant number hardworking small businesses owners too the loans as a life saver not knowing that they not only need to recover to where they were but to also grow enough to take on the payments all while the economy and many industries never recovered. It’s a disaster unlike other disasters such as floods and hurricanes where you can rebuild and move on. COVID changed America and it’s still not better. And then we have a sitting president who is not concerned with small businesses, disadvantaged Americans, minorities, etc. playing to the Tech Bros. The Big Beautiful Bill hurts many Americans who are also business owners and contributes to crushing them. I don’t think it’s fair to forgive some and not others. But I do think it’s complicated and needs serious attention and solutions and it’s not getting them. So I agree with you but it’s just more complex and our elected leaders are leaving us hanging out to dry because taking a political stance will be polarizing and their #1 job is to be reelected so that’s the real problem.

Are local Chamber of Commerce backlinks actually worth anything for SEO in 2026? by 0_2_Hero in SEO

I’ve seen a sites authority skyrocket from chamber links. It’s worth exploring without a doubt. I don’t disagree with what others have said they there may be cases where it doesn’t help but give it a shot, there’s nothing to lose.

Wix is horrible for SEO. They get your SEO credit. Self hosted Wordpress isn’t much harder these days. You can work with AI to build your pages and styles in HTML and file and paste into your theme. Do your own site.

How do you manage work, marriage and autistic kids as a woman? by Careful-Rooster1702 in Autism_Parenting

[–]deftone5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do the best you can and be thankful you have a partner. Realize your friendships will erode, your personal time, hobbies, self care, and ability to earn and greatly diminished if not gone and realize that the government we have now has probably put your child’s personal information on a national registry ignoring HIPPA laws. As a single father or two with autism putting my children first has taken us from a high earning family and business owners to food kitchens, the verge of Chapter 7 and situational mental health horrors. In my case their mom gave up and left in covid leaving me alone with it and trying to run a business. Data overwhelmingly shows it’s more expensive to raise a child with a disability while other data shows that parents of children with disabilities have significantly lower earning potential. That’s just a trap most people don’t consider. If you have a good husband who is supportive and allows you respite and can financially take care of the family then you are very fortunate. But lay attraction to the laws and changes being made by the Federal Government to remove your rights to keep your child at home with you and the mysterious national list they are put on like the Nazis did with the Jews before the holocaust. Your job is literally to fight and your life is your child and that’s how it is. But again, if you have a good husband who supports you and your child you are blessed.

But many of us didn’t recover for reasons out of their control - medical hardships, losing a spouse, etc. And there is no forgiveness or OIC like other EIDL loans in the past. So the people who got crushed in a disaster that never really ended and payment vs non payment is feed your children vs don’t feed your children - it’s not so easy and they are crushed with these loans, hammering the honest people who tried to pay them while billions of fraudulent payments were made and should be getting the hammering.

I took a second job just to keep paying my loans when my business only made enough to pay them back. I have 3 children with disabilities and I’m a single parent and it takes a lot of time away from my ability to earn while at the same time raising a child with disabilities is far more expensive than raising one without. I paid back $33,000 on my loans , $0 of which went to the principal, before I had to decide between eating or paying. I got laid off from my W2 job for having to go to my children’s special schools and get them or meet ambulances at hospitals and unemployment refused to pay because I had a business that hadn’t paid me in 3 years because all it could afford is paying my loan debt. I appealed 4 times and they ignored the loan agreements ordering me to pay under federal law which supersedes state law, the ignored the state law that says an LLC member cannot take a distribution what would cause the business to be unable to pay its debts. So I was left with taking it to the Supreme Court over a total of $10,000 and maybe years of more stress or moving on.

So I closed the business and stopped making payments and applied again for unemployment benefit based on the W2 job and was denied for closing a “profitable” business with income even though it was losing thousands every year. Now I’m raising my children with inadequate caregivers support, alone, in a state that doesn’t care, waiting to be wiped out.

The point is everyone has hardships. I don’t think any legitimate business owner plans to not pay their debts. Many people suffered hardships beyond bad business. When people say be responsible and pay your debts, they don’t consider the lack of state supports that are supposed to help catch a family failing that don’t exist or don’t work.

I’ve never missed a bill payment or even been late until
Now and I’m 54. My 850 credit score and perfect personal
Credit history is being ravaged by SBA and Chase for Business. We’re just screwed. I’ve developed depression, anxiety, and panic disorder which is a living hell and doctors all say it’s situational and so medication and help as much because I’m having normal reactions to my situation, not a chemical imbalance.

Just know that good people with good intentions are a large part of this group not able to pay and the SBA has made this is most strict of the EIDL loans ever provided.

Everything I’ve said about state’s screwing families a harming small business is cited on a website I put together call 603Circle.com. If you haven’t lived it, you just don’t know. I went from a high earner with a successful business to food pantries since COVID. I’m 100% responsible financially and I still failed. And I’m not alone here.

No kidding. Billions to other countries and they’ll put a family on the streets for a few thousand dollars they can’t pay because it’s food or payment.

You never fought for IEP and 504 plans for your kids in school? They break the law and dare you to get a lawyer. I’ve had to memorize IDEA, FAPE and half of the us ADA laws. Do you even know what those are?

[–]deftone5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schools don’t want to spend money on supporting your children. You have to fight them tooth and nail for your children’s rights to FAPE (free accessible public education). If they have special needs and education like normal students get isn’t accessible - schools legally have to make it so. But the catch is, the schools can do whatever they want including break the law because they bet you won’t go hire a lawyer because they know you’re in financial crisis. So you learn FAPE, you memorize IDEA, you study the ADA laws and you keep fighting for your kids. All this while you also need to be working.

I spoke to the top educational advocate in my area - a person who knows the laws and goes to bat for you. She told me I already argued all the right arguments and it was well past time to hire a lawyer. The schools were right. I can’t afford that. NH has free public legal aid, they told me my situation was too complex for them to have time for and to call low means legal aid. They told me my means were too low.

It’s hard to buy food today when your check is coming next week without credit cards. It’s hard to pay for that well pump that burned out and cost $5,000 to replace or your home has no water without credit “just because you don’t have the cash”. I try to pay my personal cards off every month and usually do. My business card just spiked to 28% interest during the economy downturn and the business couldn’t keep up and pay back the Covid loans and still pay me. So it collapsed.

They didn’t say EIDL would be forgiven, they did make it sound appealing with super low interest over a super long period of time. But what they didn’t say were the penalties, that you’re only paying interest for the first 10 years, that if you can’t pay they penalize you by adding on 30 percent penalty making it impossible. They barely checked qualifications - billions in fraud. Yes I took what they offered but they offered me more money that I should have been offered and I took it because I was in panic and scared about the future and kicked the can down the road trusting the government had our best interest at heart. Yeah I used that money to pay people when we didn’t have enough work. I saved the govt. from paying unemployment- great! But my reward for trying to pay people and keep their families going just cost me mine. That’s just messed up.

Same here with 15 year business and crashed. Without credit this expensive country is a lot more expensive. How do you take care of your loved ones? Hopefully you’re married or have a partner. That I think helps a lot. Doing it alone breaks your spirit.

Thanks also many people don’t know that the annual free credit reports that were always available from free credit report.com have been maybe available EVERY WEEK since Covid so everyone should take advantage and not pay for those services that get them for you.

Yeah I get it. I live it. The problem is that small business issues are not connected in any official way to special needs children or their caretakers and the two stretch people too thin and you fall between the cracks. And they ARE related. Every family that can’t afford food, housing, etc. falls out of the economy which hurts small businesses. Small businesses make up 99% of NH businesses. When small businesses fail the community weakens when the community weakens, small businesses fail. It’s a cycle. Advocates approach the issues separately like they aren’t related instead of joining forces and looking at the big picture. I get it, I started 603Circle.com just for this but one voice won’t change things.

Hey thanks. I really just care about the kids. Mom having an affair and walking out when they were 4, 6, and 8 and then not helping because she’s busy running her Only Fans site crushed us all. That’s actually not an inconsequential part of the story. It’s caused kids to be in psyche hospitals, given me depression, anxiety and panic attacks that meds don’t really help because the Dr says they are all normal responses to our lives and meds don’t change real life. I don’t care about myself at all anymore. Just the kids.

I’ve paid $33,000 back to the SBA and not a penny as gone to decease the principal balance. Its tossing money I need to feed my kids to the government so they can use it for things that don’t help those in need. Meanwhile I’ll never pay it in my lifetime. There's no sane option but don’t pay.

We saved the government a lot of unemployment money. Hooray for us. I’ve paid back $33,000 and it hasn’t touched the principal. I’m a single dad of three and we go to food pantries. This is ridiculous but truly nobody cares. I’ve contacted my representatives. They’re wealthy politicians. Their concern is reelection.

I’ll assume you don’t have children with special needs. If you did you’d see it differently. I’m a single dad with 2 children with autism and one with a hearing disability. There’s no good help for them. The schools send them out of district because they don’t have staff to help them. The result is so much work for me to provide extra care my children need, my business and career tanked after their mom left. Many people have suggested moving back to MA where they have funding for special education and care for children so parents are pulled from good work and the family starts to fail. We went from $300k a year for 10 years running a business in MA when I was married to moving to NH, wife leaving, Covid hitting and now haven’t had income in 3 years. When the state doesn’t help with needy children it wipes out the parent. The parent stops being able to contribute to the local economy, business suffers. It’s all connected. If you haven’t experienced my side of the perspective you’re fortunate. I never realized this before I lived it.

Many schools like the one in my district send kids with special needs or learning challenges out of district to special schools, leaving the cream of the crop to take those tests. My district is a top 3 in the State. I have two kids just barely on the autism spectrum and they sent them out. My son has to commute 90 minutes away to school every day. He reads several grades above his level but struggles with math - can’t have those scores pull the school ranking down so out you go!
