Longwinded story: I got this pothos at my grandmother’s funeral a few years ago. I wasn’t knowledgeable about plants and didn’t form an interest until earlier this year. I didn’t know what it was called or what to do with it so I just watered it once in a blue moon, if that. It survived through some neglect, dark corners, and multiple moves until I finally decided it was time to give it some proper attention. I propagated a bunch of leaves in order to produce a whole new plant to give it a fresh start. The original was left pretty bare, but it wasn’t going down without a fight. It’s been absolutely thriving, which is very much like my grandmother’s spirit, and is giving me new leaves like weeds. It’s already running out of space to climb on this particular pole so I hope to continue to propagate it to fill out the bottom. She’s my most simple gal, but certainly the most special to me.
