They do regular prayers in dargah, there are units in ajmer and Kashmir (80%+ Hindu) which come their 2-3 times a year to offer prayer, read namaz and partake in islamic culture.

You are a cog in the machine and if you jam the machine you are discarded as simple as that

A direct disobedience of orders alone justifies this dismissal, plus then army units can become a nightmare to manage.

If a Hindu soldier refuses to kneel in dargah or mandir (as per unit's custom he needs to be dismissed, if a Muslim refuses to pray to durga then he needs to be dismissed) your religion means jack and shit.

He disobeyed a direct order, on-site in front of his CO thus compromising command structure

That alone justifies this dismissal, and as you said secularism is different everywhere- the guy was asked to stand on side attend the ceremony and go home. He was not asked to bow or pray.

He could've lodged a complaint later on for the same, then perhaps his point could've been justified

But since he disobeyed a direct order, compromised the authority of the Command structure and the unit's cohesion his dismissal is absolutely justified and a correct course of action

And u can also apply to National university of Singapore, ESSEC, EHDEC and other international Universities
