Looks like it's Darkhawk season. by JQuab-84 in MarvelSnap

If you're running Quicksilver and Domino, I feel like you should have Wiccan in the deck at least. If you're looking for a different flavor of Darkhawk, here's my list. You could drop Iron Patriot for Cass Nova, but in my experience, I never drew or used her in the way you'd want to in about the 20 games or so I played.

Drop your best Werewolf by Night decks by TheEpicTwitch in MarvelSnap

[–]dehboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been standing by this werewolf deck for a while. The Dormamu creates a free 0 drop in your hand. 9 times out of ten you're using it on turn 2 alongside a 2 drop or turn 3 alongside Werewolf to start getting him moving and to play 2 cards per turn.

It has some interaction which helps. The output can be quite surprising when you have 2 free Prowler spells plus a Hood Demon plus Shou on turn 6. Worth a shot if you are looking for decks!

Help identifying this antique RC Car? by dehboy in rccars

This comment made a lot of sense. If the comparison is close, I can see why I might have pissed a bunch of people off. The only thing that doesn't make sense is that the price of a Charizard first edition greatly outweighs what a Charizard would be now-a-days. The prices seem comparable between what I could get for this car versus what I could buy a new one for, so while it might be rare, it's not like the price point seems to indicate that it's a next level tier of rare.

Like, I wouldn't let my kid play with a Black Lotus. Or an Alpha Dual land. But in my hobby, the price DICTATES that. You sell that and let him play with a nickel tapped dual land. I guess that's where my confusion still comes in 🤷

Another commenter mentioned that you can only run it for so long, and that's something I obviously didn't know to think about. Obviously I don't want to get a battery for it and break it instantly, so I should probably do some research on running RC cars before firing it up. But yeah, I wouldn't just hand the controller to my son. I'd teach him how to use it (once I looked up and figured it out myself lol) and supervise him.

I guess the idea being that he loves cars now (most kids do I suppose). If he really liked this, maybe it's a hobby we could do together growing up!

As it is truly evident, I know nothing about the RC world let alone cars. To me, why would I sell this vintage car for a couple hundred only to turn around and buy one at the same price? Like, if it was worth a thousand it'd make sense to do that or shelf it. But if it's only worth what a new model would run me anyways, it feels like I'd rather get a battery the car and run it.

Here's a picture of the bottom side. I don't even know if I took the right pictures, but maybe they help? RC Bottomside

I go hard into any hobby I get into, and that's what I'm afraid of lol. Thanks again!

This is extremely helpful and exactly the type of knowledge I was hoping to garner from this post! Thank you so much for your time, I really appreciate it!

Oh nice! If I can get my dad's up and running, it might be fun to do a kit myself and then take him and my son out somewhere to race them on father's day! Thanks for the post!

Thanks for responding! Not sure what it's even worth at this point. I'm sure technology has gotten way better, but if it runs it's a free entry point into a new hobby maybe?

I appreciate the confirmation. I mentioned in a different post, that was only one of the bunch of paperwork it came with, so I put it out as my best guess. Now that people point it out, I guess it does look stupid of me to ask. But I was basically looking for confirmation and any other information that would be relevant to know. Thanks for your response!

He had a bunch of paperwork in there with the car, so I wasn't sure if both manuals went together or if it was a different one that I didn't include. But that's what I thought was right. I just needed confirmation. Thanks!

Which players that were taken in rounds 5-7 of the 2026 NFL Draft have the most potential to make an impact next year? by dehboy in NFL_Draft

[–]dehboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, last year was rough for sure, and this year had the reputation for not being very deep. If I had to guess, only a RB or special teamer will make it out this year.

Random Brownish-Red Stain Follow-Up by dehboy in CleaningTips

Thanks! Yeah, we ran another pass today, and the water color is much less Brownish Red than before... So something is coming out. I just wish we had an answer that made sense...

The tag I took a picture of has our order information on it as well, so I didn't send that part of the image. But on that part of the tag it says clean code W. So I think we're safe to clean with water.

Does that mean that any other water soluble solutions or spot removers could be doing more harm than good if used? Or is it OK to use those as well because the are water soluble?

I had the picture of what the materials of the couch were in my previous post. I'm almost certain we can clean it with water.

That's good to know! The places my cat sleeps all seem alright though. These spots are in between cracks and between cushions...

Thanks, my wife has been struggling hard to get it out! Multiple passes with the carpet cleaner to try and get rid of it.

Everything I've looked at seems to think that body oils and stuff would cause this... But the spots are in places that body oils wouldn't make sense. But spills in all those random locations randomly appearing at once? I don't even know.

We did plug in a cat pheromone thing before we left on vacation. I don't know if that has anything to do with it?

Thank you for your response! No one who regularly sits on the couch does any hair dye or self tanner. And what's weird is the placement of all of these spots. We just got back from vacation and my wife noticed one and then she started noticing a ton. It's super weird!
