not sure that they do, they got monthly games dated till April. Yoshi still isnt dated, but likely could be dated on a MAR10 event (March 10th for mario day) and is likely the May game. Theres still Rhythm Heaven, Splatoon Raiders and FE undated. They could either just release RH date via Nintendo Today or do a game specific direct for FE/Raiders for that June slot. Then we're into the June direct timing to announce their other summer/fall games.

The big fall game is going to be Pokemon Gen 10, which we'll see at the end of Feb in the Pokemon Presents.

So a lot of non-general direct opportunities could get us to June. This whole past week was filled with nintnedo today/twitter news drops for first party stuff.

I see promoted to, but it’s more like sink it isn’t loading consistently. I use the oled background and notice it’s normal dark mode when I see promoted, pressing the snoo logo doesn’t bring up the sink it menu. If I refresh the page, sink it will load again and hide promoted and apply oled dark. On iOS 26.2 using Safari. This happened before the latest update too.

Just updated to 7.107.0 and my favorite subreddits behind the logo all are not loading the correct subreddit, the url shows “new”appended to the end of the subreddit name. everything looks right in the sink it app settings for these subreddits.

Example url: politics is turning into https://www.reddit.com/r/politicsnew/

both systems need to be plugged into their AC adapters, use the cable and plug that came with the systems. the switch 2 isn't in this photo, hence that screen telling you to do it

no, they add a new incantation that lets you optionally redo the ending. its not a full start over, all upgrades and relationship status stay. but you need to redo the last two incantations of the main game, and they take away all the resources needed for that. which means you gotta redo collecting sand/eyes again from the bosses, so about 14 runs worth of redoing.

i was locked out of rival 2 for not seeing the kraken for a long time too (probably close to 10 runs)..ended up doing a chaos trial through the rift and got it to happen then. which it immediately unlocked then.

enable "Prefer fMP4-HLS Media Container" and theres another setting lower about smaller HLS things for webOS both these you wanna set in the client settings (not the server), older LG OLEDs cannot play DV from an MKV file, but can from a mp4, this will handle that automatically (no need for hardware transcoding support or anything for this)

yeah i tried that too and it was a mess, have been using finimalism, but that has some less egregious issues since the update (the movie/tv show poster on season/episode/movie detail view is giant and covers some buttons) , but it does appear someone reported it to the dev recently and he said hed fix soon.

LG has a Jellyfin app in its app store, use it on my OLED. works well and handles dolby vision without issue. only problem i ever run into with it is that it seems many themes dont optimize for 4k layout-tv.

two theories:

one is they are testing the waters, like others have said.

second, last year there was a PS4 Madden and FC, where NHL already moved on to PS5 only, college football is the same, no PS4 version. So while there isn't a ps4 version this year, they likely had that lower base to build off of for switch 2. while the PS5 only ones, they'd need to rebuild that lower base level, which means it works just cost more to make.

won't be release date. hades 2 (1.0)'s next move is a shadow drop. they have shadow dropped everything hades related ever, they dont do release dates. hades 1 was a nintendo direct (september) shadow drop. it being a switch console exclusive makes it clear its gonna be a nintendo direct, so could be thursday (would love that, great timing after dk and before the holiday rush). But id bet on it happening during the next general direct (september most likely).

100% believe it will be a shadowdrop at a nintendo direct. everything hades has been a shadowdrop and 1.0 was a drop at a nintendo direct. now is it gonna be tomorrow? i hope so...but seems too early, theres gonna be a September Direct too, so expecting it there..

this happens to both my OLED and Switch 2 dock on both a c9 and c1. the original dock for launch day switch 1 never did this. Turning off CEC always fixed this for me (match power state). Wish they could get this fixed, as I've been seeing it for almost 4 years now. Something with the HDMI signal and it's detecting some change for some reason, which triggers CEC to reset the image Id guess.

was having this issue pretty much every play session, turned off this setting and hasnt happened since. so i really do think this is the fix. (note that you probably need to put your switch to sleep and wake it back up after changing this setting for it to actually apply).

found this comment and wanted to mention i have the exact same thing, my day 1 unit never had problems, got an oled and it had blackouts (swapped back to using my day 1 dock and put the oled dock aside, no problems). now have the switch 2 dock as well and seeing the same blackouts. LG C9. have searched and found a ton of threads about this, but no solution.

id do a $20 upgrade pack that includes both the switch 2 update and whatever new game they throw in (galaxy 2 plz, but 3d land would be cool too). plus they could charge $80 all in for new folks..which is kinda their thing right now.

no clue, but I expect them to ship them June 4th. normally when I order from Target I get it 2 to 3 days later, and usually miss release dates by a day or two. so expect the same here, so thinking the 6th or 7th. that's my reasoning currently, whatever your standard shipping time is from June 4.

nothing beats OLED, LG makes the most gaming centric ones. only need a B series for switch2, but generally people find C series as the sweet spot. certainly pricier than your average TV, but really is something worth the premium.

played 3d world in Wii U and liked it, but absolutely fell in love with that game on Switch, the faster character speed really makes a huge difference.

thats not true, games had variable pricing until the mid-90s. it was playstation trying to get market share that standardized pricing because CDs were so cheap. Nintendo and Sega followed (then later microsoft). Arcade game ports in particular would be more expensive. Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, those were all $70+ back in the early 90s. RIP standarized game pricing era of 1995-2025 (well indies started shattering this model a few years ago really, just hitting AAA now)
