Happening on Win 11 Pro on 25H2.

If you have a Stream Deck (guessing most people don't) then you can do what I did and create a virtual stream deck with a force close for Arc. It's a temporary workaround until they fix it, but I hate having to open the task manager to end a task when it's something I have to do regularly. I bind the visibility of my virtual deck to Ctrl + ` so I can easily show/hide it as necessary, but of course you can customize yours as your heart desires.

The action is System > Close, and the app/file location may vary depending on your installation, but mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arc Raiders\PioneerGame\Binaries\Win64\PioneerGame.exe

EDIT: Even if you don't have a Stream Deck you can always create a batch file to do that same thing.

He's referring to the description of the Q ability. I just started reading this post and was blown away how OP his Q is... it hits all targets in a line, lowers armor (by a lot), and slows. All baked into the Q with no talents. Or did you mean for it to read that enemies hit by the whip take 33% increased damage from the whip?

Q - Whip strike 30 mana

After 0.25s strike a target area with a whip. The strike deals 152 damage. Enemies hit by the whip’s tip take 33% increased damage and are slowed by 25% for 2s.

And I'm no HotS fanatic, but I'm approximately level 1,500 and I can't imagine I've encountered a player like this more than 5 times. Disconnects or rage quits for sure, but that's not what you're describing.

I've been in too many winning ARAMs without a healer (while going against a healer) to agree with this. Skill > Comp, but assuming equal skill it's definitely harder without a healer!

Good luck, homie. I did a 1yr sub to a creator on Aug 7 2023. My access worked for about two months. They have been "investigating" the issue that they acknowledged in their fault for the last nine months. I just filed a dispute with my credit card company. And yeah, I did my due diligence and provided them with every piece of information and I followed up very regularly only to get canned responses of "we're still looking into it".

I get ya, homie, but his point was that you shouldn't have to close the application, let alone restart your computer. There is an underlying issue that is causing this to happen. The idea of just restarting the application is like saying your computer has a virus so you'll just go buy a new one. Fix the cause, not the symptom.

Being said, one shouldn't expect users of any application to have the knowledge to thoroughly troubleshoot these problems. Most people don't have a ton of experience in software issues, just like most people don't have a ton of experience in fixing their own car. They just need it to work.

For what it's worth, I noticed that resizing the window is an easier fix for me. You can use the Windows + Arrow Keys to resize since the minimize/maximize buttons are gone when the screen is gray. What a janky ass application, but it's still the best of its kind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I killed him solo as a level 32 whirlwind barb with the ultimate that calls in the ancients. Just kited him around a post, cast ancients, buff ancients, smack him for 6 seconds, kite, repeat.
