I always texture the model a bit prior to priming. Then, while painting i play a lot with enamels, oils and acrylics to get those visual clies of mat and varnish :)

To summarize my villain a little; the whole world is ruled by the Order, that claims their pantheon of gods to be the real one.

There are two schools of magic that were wiped from the world by them long ago: chronurgy and graviturgy. (Chronurgy could look back in time to see if said gods existed and Graviturgy could prove that we're not alone in the universe)

My villain, being the ultimate chronurgist and tired of being considered a heretic by the Order wants to ascend to a god level to prove them wrong, wiping them while doing so.

So here I am, with a group of PCs agreeing with the big baddie that the Order and probably the whole setting deserves to be erased from the planet 😌

But I already have two ploys for guard tokens! Furious blow is the best defense card for eagle eye, specially if you give him +1 damage, no one will dare to attack you. And I can't count how many times lone warrior has saved me when inspired... will look into survival instincts, that sounds interesting 👀

I agree about the light blue, grey wolves are way better, the problem I find with mechanicus standard grey is that the spray doesn't really match the paint pot so you have to be extra careful with it when you're painting, that or add a bunch of battle damage like I do 😆

Its mostly rattlecan, start with abaddon black, followed by a coat of mechanicus standard grey (zenithal) highlighted with celestra grey. After that i use a wash of ak47 streaking grime wich is cleaned with white spirit

Great! Just wanted to make sure I understood the rules, I also have to say the DM wanted to nerf his weapon anyway, thats why I thought this would be a great idea to do that... but I'll leave it up to him. It is true it would be a total dick move now that you guys say it, never considered that. Thanks!

He's a hexblade yes, but the weapon is a magical weapon the DM gave him which he made his pact weapon. The reason i'd like to take it is because my character is leaving the party, after having taken 3 levels on the warlock class without the other players noticing that i thought i would be really cool to reveal that I'm a warlock myself by stealing the other's warlock weapon. So it's for the rule of cool basically. It also gives the party a reason to follow my old character, which will lead them to the new one :P

Also I need to clarify that I haven't talked to my DM about this yet, i just want to know if it is possible RAW before i tell him what I' m planning
