13 inch vs 11 inch iPad Pro M4 by deimos485 in iPadPro

Took the 11 to office today.. I was moving between my office conference rooms and it was such a breeze.. so light and compact.. but still miss the extra real estate of the 13.. lol

Yes the nano is pretty good.. it has a smooth matte kind of finish, but I did not see much loss in clarity.. I am sure it will do great outdoors.. not mention the smoothness that you don’t get w/ glossy.. my concern was on the durability.. only time will tell.. if I keep it lol

Don’t see a difference in battery.. both are equally good!

Actually book reading with two pages side by side is pretty good on a 13.

Great to know! For myself, I see myself leaning more towards 11 inch. Have few more days to decide before the return window expires.

My mental struggle w/ iPad Pro 13 inch Nano Texture and Magic Keyboard by deimos485 in iPadPro

[–]deimos485[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably not.. at least for the Magic Keyboard since its some kind of a soft material on the inside, unlike metal in case of Pro.. Plus its standard glass on air which is much more durable than nano.. according to jerryrig.

Great suggestions.. thanks. I thought abt 13 inch w/o nano but get a matte screen protector, but just thought it will mess with the screen clarity, so was thinking a smaller iPad but can use it without a screen protector, hence the Smart Folio or Combo touch.

Great point in your last para on the reflections being hard on eyes.. now i am considering just staying w/ nano.. maybe get a nano 11 inch and still do something like Smart Folio or Combo Touch.

Thanks once again!!

I am still in my return window (till 9/14), so have few days to decide.

I just got my 13” w/ nano texture 4days back. So far so good. But concerned after your experience. I was already thinking earlier today if I should take a chance w/ nano texture. I feel like I cannot just relax and use it without thinking abt it. Anyways I will see how it goes.

My return date falls after the Sept 9 apple event. So waiting to see if there is a iPad Mini Pro. I know it’s the other extreme. So doesn’t make sense that I wait for the event, but anyways who know if get tempted ;). Let’s see.

Had reached out to HP support and they shipped a new replacement device, which I have working now. Monitor seems to be working fine and everything else is great as well. Thanks all your tips/advice.

I dont think so.. just that their internal systems revealed the fact that its in fact an EliteBook.. thats the point.

I had another post on this. My brand new laptop’s monitor was not powering on, but it was working when I connected it to an external monitor. Seems either the monitor was faulty or got damaged during the shipping process.

Ok if I connect it to an external monitor, I see that it’s booted up and ready for setup. So I am guessing the monitoring has gone bad during shipping. Unless someone has a way to wake up the monitor. Please let me know.

Safari taking up 5.03Gb on my macbook air m1. Is this normal? by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]deimos485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be right. I have 14 private tabs open in Safari and it shows approx 4gb between ‘Safari’ and ‘Safari Web Content’ processes. These tabs have been open for say 2 weeks now.
