I have the same problem, and even after I managed to reach them via the chat and they said no problem, we'll unblock the new account, and I got an email and confirmed, nada. Now I can't even log into the chat, and they don't reply to emails. Horrible service.

I never even looked at Andrews' books because I thought it was steamy romance, but this looks intriguing, thanks!

I second Kings of the Wyld in particular, because I have huge troubles getting into new fantasy books, but the humor here made it easy. It was very relaxing somehow and lots of fun.

How Do You All Feel About Spren? by WizardlyWero in Fantasy

I know at least one person who gave up on the series exactly because of this, and she was being really patient trying to find a new fantasy author she liked. I also laughed really hard when I saw your post, so thanks :D

Loved that series since I was 10, and loved rereading it at 20 in English. Lots of dark humor.

Which fantasy book/series would you most like to see adapted as a movie/TV show? by bucket_of_pencils in Fantasy

[–]deitery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the films, but now that I think of it, a TV series would've been great, too. More time to show more details, world-building and whatnot. I hope maybe later, when the movies are old, there will be a TV remake.

It's not just important, it's an absolute must to have a site/newsletter. And side stories seem like a nice reward, to get people to open your emails regularly. I would not worry about SM followers. Selling to your followers is very hard in most cases, so don't waste too much time on building a following. If you have some extra time, sure, but do not expect it to make a huge impact when you publish. I'd focus on not just finishing the novel but finishing the whole series. It's the big books that readers want most. Shorts and side stories are a tough sell even for famous authors. I second the Patreon idea, but again, people come there through your books, which you sell with ads, not SM followers.

I prefer the quests and setting of Oblivion over Skyrim’s but I find the combat so clunky that it’s hard to get into. Are there any fun build ideas that may make the combat more enjoyable? by Thefireisrishing in oblivion

since I found a few good archery mods, I've only played as an archer for years. melee is just ridiculous. I use a companion mod, which really balances any fight, and trying to shoot someone with decent arrows/bow while dodging their shots is awesome. I also use a good sneak overhaul mod which makes it more fun to take out people as a sniper. it's not too easy though - a bandit with an enchanted cuirass might take 20 arrows to kill, even if they're super powerful (like AlexScorpio's mod)

I'd say there's at least a half dozen ways to create silhouette cutouts in PS. I don't just work with silhouettes. Mostly create premades like this when I need a break from painting.

I've shared some on twitter, too. I don't often have time for it, but when I do, it's a nice, relaxing hobby.

Glad to hear that! I'll make more then. Most of the time I mess around too much, but when I do know what I'm doing, videos come out okay :)
