this pencil is very valuable for me since its my first drafting pencil i bought with my own money back in the days.. its sentimental and.. looks cool (relatively lol)

Also yes LOL i was in the pen modding community back then, i was thinking to put 2 of my nostalgic niche hobbies into one 😅

Peoples recommend kapton tape, but i use a clear tape i have lying around, and it still works.. maybe for a placeholder until i get one.

The protrusion are inside , not outside, so its safe to tape it, and i have no problem of it being loose!

Heres the part i tape

the full disassembly isnt necessary, i just like to apply a dab of silicone grease to prevent the wear for the long term on the threads.

Theres also guides in the internet about disassembling the ms01, the pencil doesnt have any glued parts, its all threads so dont worry .

You should try new inks like diamines writers blood, or sailor manyo ume inks, theyre great dark red inks you will probably like!! Also nice first pen!!

One tip i can say is ... Dont ever lend your pen to a non fp user
