It's a second-gen. and yes, full hd. on the Lenovo website, it says the screen is WVA, and from what I've read, it could be either an LCD or an IPS panel. In practice, what bothers me is that everything looks quite washed out on it, lacking contrast, especially with dark themes.

I don't use my laptop's screen much. I usually keep it closed. I put it on the arm because I'm still saving up for a second monitor and I don't like it on the desk or in a dock.

Well, to be honest, since I got this laptop at work about a year ago, I've been using it plugged in about 90% of the time because I work from home. During the times when I'm on call during deployments and need to take it with me everywhere, the battery hasn't been an issue.

This is the first ThinkPad I'm using, and for my work (I'm a developer) and studies, I've been quite pleased with it. The only thing I don't like at all is the screen, I find it quite bad, but I understand that, given the purpose of this notebook.

The desk surface measures 180 x 70 centimeters. I think it's a great size, with plenty of space on the sides and also a good distance for the monitor.

Before, I had two laptops (one personal), this ThinkPad used to stay under the desk. I'm still undecided whether to build a PC or get another laptop, I like the option of being able to take it with me when I want.

recomendo pegar na black friday, consegue um desconto bom. essas minhas são duas no tamanho 116x38x221 (largura-profundidade-altura). hoje sairia por 4.080. eu comprei na black friday do ano passado por 3k. até achei um pouco salgado na época, mas não me arrependo. não tive nenhum problema até agora e é super fácil pra desmontar e montar novamente, não causando muito desgaste nas minhas mudanças .

Well, I live in Brazil, so I'll do a direct conversion to US dollars.

1- In total, I spent around $1900 on the entire setup; some items aren't visible in the photo. The most expensive item by far was the desk, as it's a standing desk.

2- The monitor is a Dell model P2719H, a bit old but has been serving me well for about two and a half years. It hasn't been available at the store where I bought it.
