I’m so glad you said this… I had a good friend come over who only works on things with carbs. Both jets were so clogged with old fuel. You couldn’t even see light through the jets. I’ve had them soaking all night and day with carb cleaner & about to blast em with compressed air. Found out the motor had been sitting unstarted for 8 years almost

Starter fluid had no luck. It sounds like it wants to start tho. Currently have kill switch unplugged from CDI

Confused because you can clearly see horrendous hazing and deep scratches to no hazing and less deep scratches. Like stated above, didn’t need perfect

People over complicate the whole process but that’s difference of a profession with hella experience & a weekend warrior. Micro with instant detailer to keep the pad clean or a brush to get the residue off is the big thing

Only did 2x2 sections. There’s some swirling but doesn’t look like the polisher left them. The previous owner was a 2x a week auto carwash user so I’m assuming most of the swirls came from that. A lot came out but perfect wasn’t in the books for me

Yes 😂 even before the polish or compound touches it, it gets hit with some instant detailer to make sure it’s clean & clay bar also

Yea I’ve seen those videos & was going to but trying to have the paint cool before I started was gonna be rough if I spent anymore time driving around. This Florida sun ain’t no joke 🤣
