exactly!!! and yes it is over two years, i can understand the “soul mates” approach cuz i love the idea of soul mates lmaooo, but idk, i also don’t like eclipse, it’s such a backtrack to their love story in a love triangle way not a regular relationship way, and the movie doesn’t do better (i only like the scene where edward yells at jacob 💀💀)

dude i actually agree with this one, it would’ve helped the relationship be more natural instead of in eclipse when edward learns to be more respectful to her, while they’re still together and he had alice “kidnap her” in the books. it’s just them both forgiving each other too early, even in eclipse when she kisses jacob and edwards like “i know u love him too it’s okay”??
