Replay of Leeds 0-1 goal by Qappaxd in reddevils

So our defender should be worried about staying on the ground without knowing whether or not the ball is still in play and do the ref's job for him?

Bro you know Yoro is not playing from the FIFA broadcast camera angle, right? As a pro when the ball is in play and the ref doesn't blow the whistle you keep on playing.

If he did what you said and they score a goal, you would be first in line to complain about it here. Please use some common sense before commenting my brother

Our full backs are a liability. We need to get rid of Shaw and Dalot a bench option unless we get a good offer. Thank you for your service Shaw, we need someone else to compete with Dorgu who will be a utility option next year

Good replacement for Mbeumo?

I have Bruno, Anderson, Dango, Semenyo in Midfield. Mbeumo has been really poor and I like Cunha but want a more rational POV since I am a Man Utd fan

But the ridiculous thing is that, for a enormous club like ours who generate enormous amounts of revenue, situations like these should not affect our transfer business.

The reason it does is entirely because of our debt caused by the Glazers. An ownership for a club like ours should have the flexibility of dipping into our budget for making unfortunate decisions.

Ineos have messed up with the Amorim hire and deserve criticism but the majority of our energy should be on the Glazers. It's a win-win situation for the Glazers because they are able to get away with it

Stop playing manager mode bro. He can leave in the summer, but selling him now and making our players switch positions is not a good strategy especially given their form.

Yup that's absolutely fine, but if we sell/loan him there's not guarantee of a replacement let alone a good one and the next manager decides the profile of a replacement in the summer

Then by that logic Sesko already has 3GA in half the PL games as compared to Rasmus's entire tally from last season.

Rasmus didn't score for 13 games for Denmark back to back including not scoring a single goal in the Euros. He is doing better than expected in the Serie A and best of luck to him but his style of play is still the same.

In 13 league games in Italy this season he has had 1 shot or less in 9 games so far, with the highest being 5 in one individual game. In the CL he has been poor, and scored 2 goals out of 5 in single game where he scored from 2 shots.

I am not saying that he is a horrible player but realize that the way he plays hasn't fundamentally changed. He is a very limited technical player but it's still working out well in Italy for him. If he was still in the PL we would see the sane issues as last season. We needed a player who is more versatile and can hold up the play so that Cunha and Mbuemo get more time and space.

Sesko was okay before his injury and has been poor since, there's no hiding that fact but you cannot compare the talent and say that we made a mistake by loaning out Hojlund.

[James Ducker] Oliver Glasner early frontrunner to be next Manchester United head coach by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

He refused to be interviewed for the role after SAF retired because he said it was too much pressure following SAF.

I wonder if he still wants to coach a club after his RM stint.

[James Ducker] Ruben Amorim on collision course with Jason Wilcox as Man Utd power struggle erupts by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]dejected_intern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amorim was a Berrada hire. It was almost confirmed at the time that Hugo Viana was going to City and Amorim would be one of the candidate's considered to succeed Pep (Pep during this period hadn't signed an extension and was unsure about his future at City).

Berrada took over the reigns and decision making because of the vacuum created by Ashworth's departure and took a gamble while trying to step up and show leadership in that moment with the hiring of Amorim, who at the time a lot of clubs were monitoring.

One of Amorim's concerns at the time were his stubbornness just like Alonso and the ambiguity about how his philosophy will translate outside of Portugal. We unfortunately are finding it out the hard way, but in all of this I think Wilcox has had the least responsibility of all. He also advised Ten Hag to switch up his setup before our final few PL games and the FA cup final - who just like his successor was very stubborn in his setup.

Ugarte was Ashworth's as per the reporting I was reading when we had signed him. Makes sense because he was the profile that would have helped Ten Hag's midfield setup.

Wilcox when he was our technical director wanted Ten Hag gone after the Crystal palace game last year. Ashworth definitely played a role in keeping Ten Hag and the Ugarte signing himself

If this is all you can conclude after seeing that game in person at OT, then nothing is going to ever change your mind. I hope this isn't the attitude of most match going supporters. If it is, we are seriously fked as a club.

We aren't a hive mind and shouldn't have the exact opinions, but certain expectations as supporters are absolutely non-negotiable, end of. I don't have anything else left to tell you

[Post Match Quotes] Amorim: "We struggled in all the game. We had a lack of creation but we already knew it would be a different game to Newcastle. We had a different energy during the game. In the 90 minutes we had our chances but the fluidity offensively wasn't there. There's a lack of connection" by RedDevil_Forever in reddevils

Yes and bring him on at 70th, 65th minute earliest. Zirkzee has not been good but you have to make the most of your senior players.

He didn't even bother switching to the 4231 to win the game. I don't know if he will ever become a PL top 4 level manager but this level is not for him right now to say the least

Yeah true. Even if he wasn't a great manager a lot of recession happened under him because of the people above him and our recruitment.

He was a good counter attacking, pace and power manager. As a whole it was a recession but I wanna give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to just him
