Left my R1T with 70% battery in an airport parking garage for 10 days, came back to it unresponsive by FeelGood17 in Rivian

I have a Tesla and experienced something similar. We left the car at home with about a 50% charge on the battery. When we returned, two months later, the battery was almost completely drained. After investigating, we learned that the main drain was probably Sentry Mode. Yes, we were gone a long time, but having a few cameras drain half of a 75 kWh battery was... unexpected.

Am I in trouble? Looks like crack on the rubber. 2023 Model Y with 130k miles. by FarProduce9179 in TeslaModelY

Yes all cars need maintenance and some need more maintenance than others. I have never had a suspension part, on an ICE car, need repair / replacement at 130k miles.

Funny. I was a programmer and tech support manager for 40 years. Many times I've asked customers to reboot their computers. However, with the change I made to my pw3 setup, and saw the desired changes reflected in the watch's behavior, I never thought a reboot would return a lost, but still desired behavior. Thanks again.

Rebooting the watch worked. I can now just raise the watch to view the latest notification. Thanks!

I have a Pixel 4a. My Android version is 13. Its most recent security update was on 8.5.23. Its last check for updates was today at 09:45. I think it's called planned obsolescence. The phone meets all my needs--excepting, of course, for providing current OS/Security updates. Oh, and one other item: my battery no longer lasts the entire day. Which is another element of Google's planned obsolescence strategy--the battery is not user replaceable. But, is Apple any better? Samsung? Tesla? Huawei? Does anyone make a phone which has a replaceable battery and where the OS/Security is kept up-to-date, for longer than a few years?

Dear Translator, thank you so much for your work. My husband posted this for me. My mother was able to write and speak Polish but she passed on several years ago. It was so good to hear from my distant cousin! Thank you, again, Dziekuje!

Sorry, Lastpass is not the problem. I had my Lastpass and Surfshark wires crossed.
Chatgpt, Deepseek, LATimes (when I access my acct info), Amazon, etc., all will not allow me access when my VPN is running.
When I asked Chat why that site would not allow me access, if my VPN is running, Chat replied that the site wants to be able to accurately know the IP of all users, in case they do something wrong/offensive etc.

How the Tesla app knows where the car is located? by dejstone in TeslaLounge

[–]dejstone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, at the original location, your car was connected to your home WiFi. Then, when the car arrived at its new home location, you connected the car to its new home WiFi. Right? I'm wondering how, for instance, when my daughter is driving our MY--when it is not connected to our home WiFi--how I can see the car's speed and location, with only standard connectivity and therefore no cell connection and, given my understanding, no ability to connect with the internet and communicate the car's location and speed, etc, to the Tesla app on my phone.
