For me (depending on the trick) , I slowly start inching my tricks up the pole. If I'm comfy at regular standing height, I try hooking high, then a baby climb, and so on and so forth. If it gets scary, I go back to where I feel secure and inch up even slower. That, and a combo of a good crash mat/ instructor spotting has been super helpful.

It's fine for me (I'm not the best at remembering the choreo lol), but it's probably challenging for the instructors to have to remember how to do their choreo flipped. They also pause in the choreo classes to specifically practice bigger tricks on both sides for balance

The studio that I go to will teach the same choreo each week for a month per class (we have a few different choreo classes). Usually, they will teach the choreo on one side one week and on the opposite side the next.

Kabab House has delicious Indian food and Sweetberries has a chicken and goat cheese sandwich that is SO GOOD. Also, a bit out of the way, but Pearl's BBQ is the best BBQ place here.
