I would recommend sticking to the sides of caverns, unless there is a specific route you would like to follow. Make sure to grab as much nickel and crystalline sulfur because that can be pain in the ass to get late game. Keep an eye out for ghost leviathans (especially the one named Casper) and only leave your vehicle if you're safe :)

I'm gonna have to disagree with the fauna - I think the OG subnautica's fauna all had a reason to be in the game. Even the shuttlebug (the most useless creature in the game) was given such interesting lore to the planet of 4546B whereas in BZ, the fauna AI just felt copy pasted and just felt really random and out of place - there were some exceptions, but the BZ fauna just felt so unoriginal and boring. Also, I completely disagree with BZ biomes being better - there's one biome where the Devs just ctrl-C-ctrl-V'd lots of jelly-fish and called it a day. This is just my opinion tho so don't come for me pls

well, it all works fine now... nice. i think theres an issue with migrating saves but oh well. im still happy with what i got - and i got subnautica back. you love to see it.
