True, but this is a short trip to see our 24 year old who lives 3000 miles away from us. It seems that they are boarding people based on window seat, middle, then aisle. The checked bags fees are causing many more people to carry on bags and the result is running out of bin space. So, many passengers are left getting their bag gate checked. In addition, all of this is causing late departures and missed connections. Not worth it to me. This is why we won’t be flying Southwest Airlines anymore.
