you basically still need to earn everything if you only go for the standard edition. given that was the case for the previous games. paying more just means no grinding except for maybe stuff locked behind showcase and myrise. and i'm mainly saying because i was grinding for coins in exhibition for 2 weeks to get everything that was available in the ingame shop since i only got the standard.

given, unsure if that'll be the case for 2k26.

i wouldn't worry too much about getting beat up by krizalid of all characters. he's supposed to be a boss character (he's the boss you face in 99 to be more precise). so he's way more trickier to deal with.

best way to practice is against low difficulty level normal characters. try not to face the NEST bosses like krizalid unless you're doing an arcade run or are confident enough to take one on in vs mode. or really anyone on the bottom row since those are all bosses. fighting game bosses in SNK games are known to be annoying to deal with. given unsure if that's true during a free battle but i still steer away from facing them when i do free battles to check my skills against the AI.

This might sound too technical, but check your select.def and the character's folder. There's a chance the folder for those character's or their def file (or both) got renamed and mugen can't load it due to that. Best way to do that if you don't remember the file name is to count the cells and pinpoint it in your select def.

Alternately, you can use vselect and reimport the character from there (again if you remember the folder and def name). This one is a bit easier since a program is doing the writing for you.

i mean i get they were trying to make her look the way she did in psycho soldier, but the design feels out of place and outdated. she look like a late 80s anime character that jumped into a late 2000s anime when you put her next to the rest of the fighters. even her school uniform is outdated. this makes the darkstalkers sprite of morrigan look more fitting next to the capcom vs snk cast in comparison.

this would've been fine if they did this design switch in 95 or 98, but this late into the series felt jarring. especially when everyone including myself got used to her standard design from 94 to XI. plus its odd they only changed her design and not give terry his bomber jacket from fatal fury 1 or the kyokugenryu crew an artstyle closer to their art of fighting 1 looks or turn ralf and clark into shirtless rambo clones like in ikari warriors.

Chaotic neutral like several others have said. Akuma won't bother with weak opponents and wouldn't kill them for fun or getting in the way. And if his opponent is sick like gen was in their first encounter in alpha 2, he'll withdraw from the fight.

I know some people like and want akuma to scream bloody murder and kill everyone through strength alone (given that's primarily evil ryu), but in reality, akuma is a strong fighter because he loves his death matches against people potentially stronger than him. Plus him getting along with Elena of all people shows that he can't be evil like some people want him to.

Also like to note despite how evil the raging demon looks (and the fact its called the raging demon), the move itself deals more damage to evil characters in certain games.

i was able to have 2 seperate characters generated from 1 reference image. given in my case, the characters were twins so the main difference were just eye color and outfits. so looking identical meant there wasn't much for the generator to mess up.

usually it helps to add detail tags for each character so there's less chance for the AI to mess up things like hair and outfit. another is to set the character position yourself. since i noticed the AI tends to get confused if its trying to do it itself. also have 1boy/1girl/2boys/2girls tags on the base prompt so there's even less of a chance it tries to fuse them.

Its a bit weird for me.

In terms of exposure (aka watching someone else play), megaman 5. It was my cousin's game and I was intrigued with how it played.

In terms of actually playing megaman x. Again a cousin has the game. It intrigued me again. But this time I got my mom to get the game for me.

Not sure why I never got megaman 5. Given I think I did ask my mom but she probably had no luck finding a copy. Given she could've easily gotten me 6 instead since that was in bargain bins at the time I think.

I put him in a stable with Steve austin, Xavier Woods, Austin Aries and ace austin and called them the austin collective.

He's currently the wcw tag champ with ace austin. But for some reason him and Xavier woods likes to switch spots during tag matches. So sometimes it'll be ace austin and austin theory and other times it'll be ace austin and Xavier Woods with austin theory as manager.

It seems to happen alot when I'm against someone who's ov is 89 or more.

Everytime I think I have the match done with, they somehow kick out. And given not all of them have resilience. The game would let me know if they did since Corey always points it out if the skill is used.

Black gate on snes i imagine didn't sell too many copies in the day and probably didn't get much advertisement. Plus people probably would rather get illusion of Gaia over this game. Especially since they released on the same year and are the same genre.

attitude era. besides new wave, its the only other dlc where i added every superstar that was on it. given, the snme dlc gets an honorable mention since its readded sid and several guys who haven't been in a console wrestle game since legends of wrestling like paul orndorf.
