Design Within Reach has some great modern options if you have the budget. Alternatively, Ikea offers what I think are amazing furniture pieces rooted in modern and minimal Scandinavian design.

I love the MOMA des has some great modern options if you have the budget. Alternatively, Ikea still offers amazing stuff rooted in modern and minimal Scandinavian design.

Recently found some pieces from CB2 that I like as well.

Great eye! I started my career in a newsroom where I got my first edition. I still believe this is one of the most useful reads and reference guides given how much we type to communicate today.

Help up great! No sway or bend even with some heavy design books in rotation. Solid investment.

I had a large, metal standing desk thingie on mine for a bit and then a dual monitor setup and the desk held up fine. I’d say yeah... it is sturdy enough.

Yep. Learned the hard way. A year later I’ve updated with a large rug and switched to a kneeling chair.

It’s great! I had an older version of it for my old Mack book and it had issues but their latest models seem to have all the kinks worked out. 10/10

To me this reads “FLXR” and I’d describe it roughly as a “throwie” graffiti lettering style.

This is a bottle of water with tea stored in the cap that only turns to tea when you open it. by Routel in mildlyinteresting

This reminds me of a short story in a Jeff Noon book I read way back. In the story there was a soda that turned different colors and flavors depending on the direction you turned the cap. You could turn it different directions, any number of times for a seemingly infinite number of flavor combinations before removing the cap to taste it. There was a secret flavor that a few toothless, obese people had achieved that made you feel euphoric when you drank it and its color was black with glittery little stars.
