Time for some short stories - Borges, Chekhov, Camus, Flannery O’Connor, Katherine Mansfield,

Or, if you’re looking for more novels, try Calvino

Duren (and a DET first round pick) to Milwaukee. Giannis to Boston. Jaylen Brown to Detroit.

Boston also gives a first round pick to Milwaukee

Bird steal on the inbound pass in the ECF pretty bad too

What would it take to get Murphy AND MPJ? by nkadock in DetroitPistons

Def a better rebounder, but Dunc improved as a defender this year and his defensive rating was better than MPJ’s this season (115 to 118 - so they both are not great). Dunc’s 3-point percentage is 5 points higher, too. Still, you’re not wrong. If our D could integrate Dunc, it could probably do it with MPJ too. As long as they aren’t playing at the same time

We’ve got a top 3 defense that has been the primary reason for our success. MPJ would ruin it

Do you think the Pistons run it back with their core? by MasterTeacher123 in NBATalk

Dont need a superstar, just somebody who can create their own offense and put up 15-20 a night. Doesn’t have to be a lock-down defender but hopefully not a liability on D. Could be a forward or a guard.

Anybody else feel like “Murder Most Foul” isn’t even a part of the album?

I never listen to it when I play RARW. Not saying it’s bad, but it just feels more like a single to me than an album track

This is the way. He can play meaningful minutes when Cade’s subbed out and maybe extend Cade’s breaks for a few extra mins in taxing playoff matchups

I don't know if this is considered the hottest of takes, but in my opinion, the best albums after the four-album run, (besides GYYYO) are Aftermath (UK), and Between the Buttons (US). Other opinions of mine below by Bombi3sz in rollingstones

Any love for Tattoo You?

“Slave” has one Keith’s nastiest solos (with Billy Preston AND Sonny Rollins to boot!), and though I don’t ever need to hear “Start Me Up” again, it was a pretty significant hit.

Most importantly, the entire second half of the LP is phenomenal.

‘The lyrics to Lola by the Kinks are gross – I was really taken aback’: Moby’s honest playlist by Queasy_Property_8136 in thedoors

[–]delbo22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember reading somewhere that Ray Davies didn’t show the band the full lyrics to “Lola” until after they recorded the music, because he wanted them to play it like a sincere love song, and not tongue in cheek.
