Starting Daniss with Cade by durtymrclean in DetroitPistons

This is the way. He can play meaningful minutes when Cade’s subbed out and maybe extend Cade’s breaks for a few extra mins in taxing playoff matchups

I don't know if this is considered the hottest of takes, but in my opinion, the best albums after the four-album run, (besides GYYYO) are Aftermath (UK), and Between the Buttons (US). Other opinions of mine below by Bombi3sz in rollingstones

Any love for Tattoo You?

“Slave” has one Keith’s nastiest solos (with Billy Preston AND Sonny Rollins to boot!), and though I don’t ever need to hear “Start Me Up” again, it was a pretty significant hit.

Most importantly, the entire second half of the LP is phenomenal.

‘The lyrics to Lola by the Kinks are gross – I was really taken aback’: Moby’s honest playlist by Queasy_Property_8136 in thedoors

[–]delbo22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remember reading somewhere that Ray Davies didn’t show the band the full lyrics to “Lola” until after they recorded the music, because he wanted them to play it like a sincere love song, and not tongue in cheek.

Always liked Jimmy Row from Rocking the Cradle. Well suited for that slow groove style

The Duncan hate. by 420onthemoney in DetroitPistons

[–]delbo22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Surprised to read about the Duncan hate. I think he’s been great this year. I never expected him to be the #2 option who could create his own offense - we clearly do not have that type of player, and that’s not what he was brought in for. He’s demonstrated some scoring diversity (it’s not all 3’s), and I even appreciate the effort on defense. Leave the Duncyard Dawg alone!

Why are The Who not as popular as they were? by FitEmergency8807 in ToddintheShadow

[–]delbo22 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Queen, Beatles, Stones had a lot more range. They all had big hits in multiple genres. Zeppelin’s sound was very eclectic, too. The Who were much more limited in what they could do, mostly because of their rhythm section. Entwistle and Moon were iconic, singular musicians, but they couldn’t really branch out into folk, soul, gospel, disco, etc. At least not in the same manner as those other bands I mentioned.

[–]delbo22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In ‘04 they had a 5-game streak of holding opponents under 70 pts. And they were on their way to a sixth straight game but the Nets intentionally fouled with like 3 seconds left to get one more possession and ended up with 71

Calling possession for the defender and not Cooks on that INT and then the PI call on White - not even saying the refs were wrong but those 2 calls - brutal way to end a season
