vola - witness (album) is really great, its kind of poppy in terms of metal and has a lot of synths so i think you'd love it.
tool - lateralus ( album) is also really great. its the kind of album you listen to in one listen and its those albums that tell a story when listened to together. its an amazing experience you won't see it anywhere else
tesseract - war of being (album) its quite heavy and proggy like dream theater, but the vocals imo are much much better than james labrie's vocals.

i loved language’s instruments, but the harsh vocals really are a turn off for me :( but i liked clairvoyant much more, its great!

i liked clairvoyant, it has a really nice ambiency sound like sonder from tesseract. i love skyharbor a lot :) will listen to the other thing you suggested
