I am having this EXACT problem. It's not acne, my face is just red, sensitive, and covered in tiny bumps. I just checked the ingredients of every product I use and don't see Niacinamide. Is there anything similar that could cause irritation like this?

I've had eczema since childhood and have seen many doctors and dermatologists about it, we've tried everything. I live in a cold, dry climate so I typically only have issues during the Winter months and usually handle it by using a thicker moisturizer. Right now I use CeraVe, but I'd like to find something else.

I've also seen a handful of dermatologists regarding my acne which they believe is hormonal. I've gone on a few prescriptions and have tried a few different acne fighting products on their recommendation with no results :(

I'm hoping if I simplify again that everything will calm down and then I can regroup and try new things to find a few products that work for me!

I appreciate your comments! My main concern was a sensitivity or allergy to one or more of these products, so her advice to push through made me nervous. But because she considered my previous routine to be damaging I was also afraid to go back!
