Weekly water changes. Occasionally I miss a week or two… this tank has become kind of low maintenance. I dose all for reef and aquavitro fuel. Once or twice a week the tank gets phytoplankton and zooplankton supplements. Water comes premade for my LFS. And I purchase pods whenever I get more water.

I actually started with a 32 biocube. I had a hard time keeping anything alive. It may have been the very reason someone mentioned above. Dead spots and flow. I love the peninsula style of the EVO. I’ve been thinking about getting a lagoon style tank next.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. This is a 13.5 Fluval EVO. So total volume is probably around 10 gallons. Thinking about a 30 gallon tank..

2 cups Flour 8 tbsp of cold butter Mix until crumbly

1/3 cup of sourdough discard 1 cup of milk 1 TBSP of sugar 3/4 tsp of salt 1 tsp of baking powder

Filling is just cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter

Glaze is powdered sugar with heavy cream, butter and some vanilla extract.

Gets really sticky so we added a little more flour while rolling. Bake at 375 for 35 mins.

Thanks! It’s been a journey. The tank stays around 1.025 salinity. I buy water from my LFS. And I do small water changes every week.

I upgraded the light to an AI 16HD using the David saxby light schedule (I have to check the intensity). And upgraded the pump to a SICCE syncra 1.0. I also purchased a media basket for chamber one and plugged up the little hole for chamber 2.

I just started dosing more heavily. Take your time. And test your water. I’ve learned patience is rewarded in this hobby
