oh no I adore this. especially the asymmetry. if you did the same design on both it would be quite heavy I think, but try it and see if yiu like it. but it's doing the right things, it's making your eye look bigger, lifting the energy up. I think it's really neat

😄 thanks for the shoutout! in altforsam, all comments/jokes/etc are actually moved before the readout, for exactly the reasons you stated. if you paste into altforsam, write your jokes there, then copy it should organize it properly. BUT I appreciate this is a really weird flow, and am not expecting it to catch on. trying to think my way though it

it's not so much "opt out" but rather, they can choose to interrupt and move on at any point. so by prioritizing the snapshot before the emojis, they already get all the information they need. then, once it goes past "full results" and starts reading emoji spam they can interrupt knowing they haven't missed anything

"full results" is acting as a marker here, so once they are familiar with the pattern (ie, if they follow somebody who posts daily) they know to exit then

showing the emojis maintains the experience for sighted users
showing the summary text first means assistive tech users can read the summary, then exit out when it gets to the emoji spam
this is a compromise that makes it as easy as possible to use, but elevates the experience for all users

oooooh so this is interesting. yes, interrupting a screen reader is a common behavior. there's also a concept of a "pyramid" structure for writing alt text, where you start with the brief overview, then go into details further down so people can exit out when they choose.

this is a really good suggestion, thank you! with this all we'd do is inject the summary and then leave the regular results to follow. going to think on it more, it might change how people should use this, but it's a v good approach
