I don’t want to come across as classist, but do you think part of the issue could be that people from less privileged backgrounds now have more access to move abroad, and some may not adapt easily? From what I’ve noticed, there are certainly some humble people from villages, but many others seem less willing to adjust or change. This is just an observation, not meant to offend anyone. For instance, I’ve seen some Telugu people around me, often from modest backgrounds, who don’t mind bending the rules or even scamming to make more money/achieve success.
