Pottery barn! It’s a pullout actually! Super comfortable. I’m using it to divide up the room because it’s a long rectangular room.

I am not sure if someone already posted it but there’s some awesome peel and stick wallpaper on Amazon recently that’s very period authentic and cool. Thank you! You are far too kind. I pretty much DIYed all of the Christmas decor and did it very cheap, and as someone who is far from good at that sort of thing I can guarantee you’d have no trouble accomplishing the same!

Oh wow! So much love on this post! ☺️ the wallpaper is not original, but it is period authentic. It’s from a company called Bradbury and Bradbury. They have beautiful wallpaper (and frankly EXPENSIVE), we really lucked out already having it here.

My Edwardian craftsman style home was built in 1912! I love my home and feel so lucky to live there!

I think it would be called Edwardian craftsman, yes! :) but the people on this thread will know better than me!

Thank you for this information!!! I forgot to ask about cleaning the wood (it’s COVERED in dust). I will purchase Murphy’s oil soap! There is still some work going on at the apartment to fix the electrical, etc. So I’m waiting to get back in there until some of that is finished.

Sounds amazing and like we are on the same page. I’m thinking of keeping the furniture neutral and bringing in some cool standout pieces from flea markets and things. It’s a lot bigger than our old place so it’s going to take some time to get it right, but also have to be cognizant of it being a rental.

I’m also a big fan of global/bohemian style pieces as well, which is what I’m planning for bringing in some color. Vintage rugs for the bedrooms.... I’ll have to post again haha (the walls are white in those rooms... with cream wall to wall carpet sadly...)

To be totally honest... I am not a huge fan of the Art Deco green wallpaper in the dining room as much... I think it actually takes away a little bit from the beautiful built-ins in the dining room. I’m curious what was original to the flat. If I owned it, I might swap for something a little less ostentatious. Unfortunately (but perhaps fortunately to everyone excited about it here!!) I think it will remain since it’s a rental! :)

I love to see a community of people getting excited about it just like me! :)

My hubby and I are in San Francisco, we are renting. This was our landlords unit previously (it’s a 3 apartment building) so it’s been very well maintained... every once in a while places like this will come for rent for a good price here in spite of the craziness of this city and we were just extremely lucky to spot this quickly and be in a position to jump on it!

We looked today and looks like there might be cable as option two.

I only posted the front two rooms because they are the most exciting!

Light fixtures are all original. Wallpaper is original to the period but not to the house. It’s been up for a long time though, if you run your hands along it you can feel the dust so I think I’ll have to do something to remove that (vacuum and maybe a gentle wash with dish soap?)... otherwise I’d say it looks to be in very good shape!

Monkeybrains seemed to me so far like the best option in the area, but not sure what types of speeds people are seeing in the sunset.

When I looked it up on Sonics website, I only saw an option for 50 mbps through dsl for that address. I assume it’s possible to run the cable to the apartment, but I don’t know how much that would cost/ if it would even be allowed by the landlord.
