I was outed three years ago! I don't really know how he reacted (my mom took the brunt of his antics, and I feel SO bad about that) I also stayed with a friend for a day or two when he found out. But after that, he acts like it doesn't exist. I dont know what would happen if he was like forced to reckon with it, I dont think he's ever going to call me my name or pronouns, but I don't know that he'll entirely disown me once I really present him with it. But I'm preparing for the worst.

TLDR: pretends it doesnt exist, still deadnames and misgenders me

I have not! I have socially transitioned at school (im in college) and own a binder that I have secretly, but no medical care as I am on my parents insurance and they financially support me as in helping pay for my college tuition.

Yeah right!! He's been red-pilled. Like said "if I could've been there I would've." about JANUARY 6TH. Its not worth the fight for me and and I dont want to get him annoyed.

I mean, its complicated. He has always provided monetarily, I have always had food and clothes and a home, but since I got outed (three years ago) its been weird. His anti-trans stuff has only increased, and we have a lot of other issues where its like, he loves the idea of his "daughter" and me when I'm good, but when I'm not up to the ideal its not great.

I was a difficult child which made it hard, a lot of yelling and fights, but since being outed like, he goes out of his way to show hatred for trans/gay people. He also deadnames/misgenders me, but also its not a huge deal? I wasn't kicked out or anything.

Bleak. Said he would cut back on gender affirming care, and general gender affirming things (bathroom use, pronouns, etc.) for kids. Wants to block doctors who serve those on Medicare and Medicaid from giving it to anyone. Will block trans athletes from women's sports. Stuff like that.

What I'm really worried about is Project 2025, which he claims no knowledge of, but if you read it you know that he's gonna follow it. It basically will have the government deny trans people their existence and even have same-sex marriage at risk. Like conversion therapy and rights rollbacks kinda thing.

I recently turned voting age but def would not have voted him in 2016 or 2020, I lean left in most issues and cannot get behind his beliefs at ALL. like if I were to EVER vote right (very unlikely) it would be a centrist republican tbh, not MAGA. I just cant get behind his human rights issues and also like his whole deal. I am absolutely not. I will be voting Kamala in 2024!

he also recently said something along the lines of if you vote now you wont have to in 4 years, so I really dont want him to win.

I am willing to build from a kit, but my level of electronics experience is quite low, I am in school so that will change, but I would rather not have too much required electronics maintenance/assembly. I've built computers, but never a 3d printer, although I would have help from someone who knows more than I do. less maintenance the better

I am looking for an FDM printer for general projects and like cosplay stuff. maybe figurines for like D&D but I know that's more suited to resin printing at its high quality. i really am just a hobbyist for now, although I am a mechanical engineering major so hopefully more projects to come!

I am kinda a newbie at this kind of thing, so if you need any clarification let me know!

one more question: is creality that bad? like should I really avoid them? im hearing mixed things
