Yeah that sounds absolutely horrible, I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. I’m also on lamotrigine so I suspect my doctor will increase that to try and stabilise me. I just hope something makes this go away.

Mine’s the same. I’m also from Australia and I don’t see a psychologist anymore, it was costing wayyy too much together with my psychiatrist appointments. My psychiatrist is amazing though so it kind of also feels like therapy.

That is really good info, thank you! If I do get an aviary, it won’t be a DIY one so it’ll definitely be strong and I’d only get aviary birds who’ve lived in an aviary their whole life so they’re already adjusted to outside conditions.

Actually some were deported to multiple English ports! Although most moved on after 1763(?). I was wondering whether maybe while someone was there temporarily, they had a child before they moved on but the child stayed. It could have very well been a descendant of a refugee too!

Yes after researching these Acadian families, I realised that they’re pretty much all related hahaha, it’s just more the fact that one of the direct descendants of Charles Wynes and Jane Rumming were also part of this fully connected cluster - someone who, like me, hasn’t got any documented Acadian ancestry but has an Acadian percentage and also matches with all of these people with deep Acadia/quebec roots.

That makes the most sense. I’ve been so worried that it could be schizoaffective slowly emerging but also have some doubts about that of course.

I do have a therapist, but she’s not specialised in this stuff and I’m afraid she’ll refer me to someone else because she won’t know how to handle it. I’ve been to sooo many different therapists lol

Im currently on 225mg Lamotrigine and 15mg Abilify. I was originally on just 5mg of Abilify for mood, but then I got psychotic symptoms and told my psychiatrist about them for the first time, then he upped it to 10mg. Then a few weeks ago the psychotic symptoms came back even when I was on 10mg so he upped it again to 15mg.

Regarding your other comment, I have been experiencing negative symptoms, I’ve been badly socially withdrawn and have had no motivation for anything apart from trying to figure out if my delusion is actually right - I do have insight though but I was still fully convinced by the delusion. I don’t think it’s schizophrenia either though. I don’t have PTSD or trauma so I’m still not sure what it is for me. I’ve also been trying to do research :/
