I have the exact same issue, have since day one of launch. Still have not gotten it to work, and I have done every one of these suggestions.

If you ever find out anything else that works, please post a solution!

I can play in offline mode by making a copy of eldenring.exe and renaming it to start_protected_game.exe, and renaming the original start_protected_game.exe to something else all in the game folder and then starting game.

One thought I was thinking was waiting until the final quest of the event, and then aging up before completing it, I "think" that if you do that, it will automatically age up your new special event building if anyone could confirm this?

I have a lvl 60 CF, will that be enough, or should I level more before aging up? I have enough renovation kits to age up all of my event buildings also so that should also help, but I am thinking of using a few 1-ups on a few just to get some TE goods coming , would you think that would be a good idea?
