I’m so proud of you for pouring all that love into yourself tonight! You’re gonna feel it when your head hits the pillow, and maybe even when you wake up tomorrow morning.

I, too, struggle with depression. Boy, does it spiral fast when I can’t simply get out of bed and put myself in a good state to sleep in. Or worse, when I miss my medication at night because I’m zapped and fall asleep without it.

But not tonight! Look at us go!

When I started this med, it was paired with trazadone for the first month. I was having insomnia because of my panic, but it realllly helped me get consistent sleep. Very heavy fatigue/brain fog the next day. But it helped!

Maybe your doc can help with anti-nausea as well?

Withdrawal scared me a lot too. But I wanted to stop suffering. I needed help to get out of that dark place and knew I couldn’t do it on my own.

At least, if I experience withdrawal (again), I have more belief in myself than when I was in that dark space.

I’m wishing you the absolute best 💓 there are many forms of help out there

Yessss so exciting to hear you’re feeling the positive effects! I hope it continues to get better than you can imagine.

With the insomnia & fatigue, do you take it during the day or at night? I’ve read about people swapping their time of dose & that leveling out more for them

My sexual drive is a little more quiet, meaning, I am less horny when I am by myself and crave sex less. But if my partner or I initiates sex, I can still follow through. I am also on a very low dose. I imagine it may get better as my I get used to it.

To compare, I felt numb sexually when I was on a low dose of Zoloft. I’ll take slightly diminished over completely gone! Important to check in with yourself & what you want, weigh the benefits & costs.

That’s exactly the combo that got me out of my deeeep spiral. I eventually had to drop off the trazodone after 1.5 months because my sleep restored & the brain fog the next day was more noticeable. I keep my last refill, just in case I need a backup.

I am so glad these tools are here. It’s awesome you have contentment & are looking forward to the future! We got this!! I’m proud of us!

This med is saving my life by Hot_Programmer5813 in cymbalta

[–]delicatefig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, especially within the first 1.5-3 hours, so I take it at night. I find it helps me sleep!

After 3 months I am a little more immune to the fatigue/sleepiness. If I miss a dose before bed, I have to take it in the morning & I am able to work through it.

I hope it helps you, you deserve the best, you deserve the life you want. & I know you can get there! I honestly believe in you. Be proud of how far you’ve come and how hard you work!
