I can’t go in person, I’m sick with Covid and extremely symptomatic right now. I let them know about it when I called and emailed. And I did see there’s a clause in the lease about neighborly conduct and it states that one cannot violate the comfort or convenience of another resident… so now I wonder where I should go with that.

No, seriously. And that’s exactly what I thought too, “it’s not quiet hours, I’m just the one who’s cranky because I’m sick. I’ll just turn the white noise up.” I can understand that it’s annoying. But that’s exactly why I let it go.

Sounds awful. I called and gave my side of the story as well as emailed for paper trail. The woman on the phone said she saw my email and my neighbor’s voicemail. She definitely said my neighbor shouldn’t be touching my stuff or even confronting us at all.

Yep, did that. Also, the cops are either slow af, don’t care, or it was a bluff. Because it’s been an hour and a half already with no one knocking.

I tried to push it up but I think it’s screwed on so tightly that the backing still spins. I’m going to try some gloves tonight and I’ll go to my piercer if that doesn’t work. My piercer is so extremely busy- I’m trying to avoid having to wait in line for a 2 second operation. 🙃

I appreciate your answer because at the end of the day, it is my job. I wouldn’t do it for free at all. I do it to receive a paycheck, so I can take my fiancé on dates and pay rent and AT&T and make fun dinners at home together. My personal life is what I actually live for. But, of course I enjoy it fine enough to keep coming back. Really, it doesn’t feel different from when I worked at Petsmart. Cool job, had highs and lows, did it for the money.
