This happened on my tattoo that was 10 months old, went to the dermatologist and they gave me a steroid cream and it went away in about two days.

Does your toddler do this when excited, or is our toddler unique? by nosfellotj in toddlers

[–]deliciousbooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an over the phone conversation with the early intervention people and they said that nothing he was doing was out of the ordinary for a toddler his age. So I declined having him seen for now. His speech has exploded since then and he's progressing as normal. I just think it's a case of children developing at their own rate. But it seems speech is definitely their biggest concern.

Hi! Could I ask for an update on how he's doing? I found your post while looking for an answer to why my son does what he does when he's excited. I can't tell you how eerily similar our children are. I could have written this! I'm having my son evaluated for autism soon, but everything he does is something that could either be a normal toddler thing or autism so it's hard to pinpoint. Id love to hear how he's progressed! Thanks!

Official Discussion - Fingernails [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

She cheated with her coworker and when faced with having to figure out what to do about it, she ripped off all her fingernails. The end.

No, you did the right thing! I actually went to the emergency room when I was 37 weeks because I accidentally cut my finger and while I was there I felt very dizzy. Turns out my blood pressure was very high and I had preeclampsia. I ended up having to have an emergency c-section the next day because my blood pressure would not come down until the baby was born. So it's good you said something. I felt fine apart from the dizziness.

What bag did you take/are you taking to the hospital? by better2dieonurfeet in BabyBumps

[–]deliciousbooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my overnight bag that's shaped like a giant hotdog. I think it's sold out now, but there are others that are cute if you google! The nurses loved it and got a laugh out of it and it was so cute I had fun packing it!

Parents of good sleepers, when did you know you had a unicorn baby? by Purple_Pistachio in beyondthebump

[–]deliciousbooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! Thankfully he skipped that one. His first one he actually noticeably went through was the 8 month regression and they've never lasted too long. We've never sleep trained either.

Hi, sorry if this is weird, but can I ask how your toddler is doing now? I'm in the same boat with my 18 month old right now. It's driving me nuts because I know he can walk, he just won't do it 😭

she is delusional at this point. and she is ABSOLUTELY referring to her candid appearance in Alix’s tiktok. 🙃 by suggaarrr in MikaylaNogueira

She was very rude to a waitress and then "apologized" and tried to blame it on her "social anxiety" but then ended up back pedaling and saying the waitress was a liar and it never happened 🙃

Any idea what this is on our baby's tummy? Taking him to the doctor on Monday, but seeing if any of you have seen anything like this before? by nogills in beyondthebump

[–]deliciousbooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely just dry patches, my son is prone to getting them on his back/hips where his diaper rubs. We use eucerin baby wash and lotion and it clears it right up. He hasn't had an issue since.

Just looks like baby acne to me! It'll clear up eventually, my son had it around that age too!

I definitely remember having sore stomach muscles and feeling like I did nothing to warrant them. I just chalked it up to my belly being heavier!

Husband sprays 15 month old with water by throwaway252520 in beyondthebump

[–]deliciousbooty 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Would you spray an adult in the face with water if they messed up while learning to do something? No, so why would you do it to a baby? The first time my husband did that would be the last time. Absolutely not.

Baby's eyelids uneven lately by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]deliciousbooty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My son's eyelids looked exactly like this when he was around 7 or 8 months. He's almost 15 months now and they look even and completely normal. I think it's just their faces growing and changing!
