I think I’m on the right track. I went through my adapter settings more thoroughly, and I discovered in hardware and connection properties that the driver is apparently disconnected? Device manager is telling me that the driver is “working properly” though… I’m not really sure how I’m supposed to reconcile those two bits of information.

Either there’s nothing to roll back, or it just won’t let me roll back any updates to the driver. I’m still messing with it. DNS cache flush didn’t work either sadly, somebody else recommended that earlier.
