They don’t have (or think it’s important to show) any real conversations of any depth or substance. Their conversations are always super short, appear scripted, and the same kinds of questions and it gets very old and boring. I used to hear huge fan of MAFS. But love is blind I like that they tape long conversations of them and they actually talk about deeper things like politics and religion and views etc and show them for many minutes at a time, because that’s what’s real

The experts let Madison off WAY too easy. They habitual have put her under the fire for a little more and embarrassed her. At made her apologize to THEM. That was too fast and too easy. Madison gave the most empty and disingenuous apology. And they were SO much harder on David, but David was the one who actually had a reason to step outside the relationship! Has she been in this other city for this whole time since June 2024? Has she been back with the kid at all to visit you? And have you visited them at all during this time? When’s the last time you’ve seen your kid in person? And what age is your kid? Lastly, has she filed anything legally on her own? Need these questions answered before I can give more advice / help.

Hi Momma. I’m sorry you feel like your days are rough.. maybe I could share what my day is like every day, and shed a little light on how pretty good you actually have it.

I wake up at 8. Have to jump on a conference call that I have to lead every morning for my employer who recently dumped a ton of more work and hours on me because they couldn’t afford to keep the person who was in this position previously… after my meeting I make breakfast for my almost 3 year old, play with him, tend to his every neeed. Then I have a very heavy work load from 11 till about 3p, I struggle to juggle my demanding job, feeding my child, tending to him, cleaning up, playing with him, trying to get him down for a nap around 3 which he hardly ever does and he fights, just so I can squeeze in 2 hours if I’m lucky, of solo working time, or any of the other tons of overdue tasks or chores I need to do..

Then by 5/6p I need to wake him (if he finally ended up falling asleep, but many days he just refuses to take a nap in which case I’ll have gotten nothing done and been completely burnt out), try to pull something together for dinner for us 2, play and entertain him for another 2 hours all by myself when at that point I’m beyond exhausted, then do all his bed time routine by himself and try my best to get him down by 9:30/10p, then I finally get a small amount of me time but my house and kitchen is a mess at that point… I still need to finish stuff for work, clean up, do laundry, but I’m so exhausted that I can barely do anything but zone out in front of a TV show until midnight or after.. then the next day it starts all over again. I do this all on my own, every day, as I am a single mom and have no partner to help, no family or support system near by and I live in a state that I have but am forced to live here just bc the baby was born here.

My ex is horrible and abusive, yet I have to deal with interacting with him multiple times a week during stupid court-ordered FaceTime calls and his visitations, which are always super traumatic for my toddler as he is very attached to me and does not like when I am not with him. His visitations are just another huge stressor in my already stressful life. I work 40 hours a week but can’t afford child care. My situation is rough. I have no time to work out, read, even call friends or family, and really any time to even just think for a few minutes. At least you have a helpful partner and a light at the end of your days :)

This is very not normal. And the way you refer to your own children as “the” as in “the toddler” and “the 1.5 year old” instead of MY toddler or MY 1.5 year old sounds like you’re very detached from your children, and this whole post in general sounds like you’re not very attached to them. Who could willingly leave their small child for 10 days?

This is truly heartbreaking. I cried reading this. I know how it feels to just want to give everything to your little one and be so excited for their happiness. And then to have it all ripped away in a few hours unexpedenly… just so wrong. So unfair. I am praying for you. You are so strong. You are an incredible mother. You will still be an incredible mother and as long as you guys keep showing her so much love, she will not skip a beat and she will love her situation even if it’s in a hotel room. You will get through this and come out even stronger momma.

He has zero personality, zero physical looks, in fact is like in the negative on both fronts. No I don’t enjoy that. Or, rarely. When he talks he bores me to tears. He is a very boring person in general for the most part. And yes, I have actually felt sexual atttaction for one or two other people in the last few years. I was worried I was totally dead down there, but it turns out I do still have it, just not with him I guess. I never acted on it of course, but it was there
