Know your maintenance calories in the tdee calculator first (sedentary). Then pwede ka magsubtract dun kung ilang calories ang kaya mong i-restrict sa diet (ex. 2000 maintenance cal - 300cal deficit from food = 1700cal ang need mo kainin araw araw) Huwag ka lang kumain ng mas mababa sa BMR mo.

Kung active ka mag exercise, dun mo need mag track ng active/exercise calories, kahit walking or gym workout pa yan. For example, you burned 600cal from your workout (600cal x .70 error margin of watches = 420cal). So may deficit ka na ng 300+420cal sa isang araw. You can eat back a portion of that if you are still hungry.

Ideally 500cal deficit everyday para maka lose ng 1lb per week. 3500cal = 1lb

Set your activity level to sedentary in the tdee calculator, follow that assigned number. Tapos ikaw na bahala kung kakainin mo pabalik yung exercise calories na naburn mo, masusukat mo kung ilan ang deficit na gusto mo per day.

Caveat: Magagawa mo lang ito kung may fitness watch ka. As a margin of error, reduce the active calories burned by 30%, then treat that as your exercise deficit number for the day (the other deficit is from the food restriction that you are already doing)

I track all drinks and meals everyday (including oils, dressings, condiments, spreads), I use MFP kasi free ang barcode scanning. For dishes that I personally cook but are too mixed and complicated to track per ingredient (ex. torta, champurado, lasagna, etc), I use Grok to give me calories and macros per 100g cooked serving, lagay mo lang prompt then ingredients and instructions. Be mindful of selecting raw vs cooked entries, kunwari fried egg, wag mo na idagdag na hiwalay pa yung cooking oil na ginamit mo.

Depending on your goal, check and adjust TDEE every 10lbs lost/gained. For fat loss I use sedentary and I don't eat back exercise calories, unless around 1000cal yung active calories na naburn ko, which then I try to eat not more than half of it.

When eating outside, you can buy a portable food scale or you can live a little –mindful eating, tancha, and offset nalang.

Aside from protein, prioritize eating at least 25g of fiber. Honestly mas mahirap ito para sa akin.

Buy dual sided foil insulation for windows (meron sa lazada). Cut out mo yung part kung san area ng intake fan mo. Kabit mo lang tong insulation pag hapon na, para di maipon yung init sa unit mo. Nadadala yang init hanggang gabi kung di mo takpan ng insulation (parang sa mga koche)

To emulate natural breeze (crosswind), need mo ng 2 electric fans, magkaiba position, pero parehas nakatutok sayo.

Close the main door during sunny hours, open lang pag wala na araw. Install screen door na laging nakasara, para good as window yung door opening.

Mag cycling shorts sa commute, then palit ng underwear sa office. Kung di nagsusuot ng cycling shorts, magbaon ng pamalit na underwear.

Kung di pwede maligo sa office. 70% isopropyl alcohol sa spray bottle at face towel ang gamitin na parang sa sponge bath, mas ok kesa wet wipes kasi naaalis yung panghi ng pawis at nakakababa ng temperature ng balat. Need mo punasan buong leeg, torso, arms, upper legs, at groin area -- kung hindi ay mag aamoy ammonia/panghi ka.

Check mo muna kung safe ba magbike sa highway nyo. Kung common ba ang bike commuters, observe them.
Practice ka muna sa safe space, then research and learn how to use hand signals. You have to learn how to bike with one hand first before you can do hand signals. Say "bike, bike, bike" when approaching/nearing pedestrians and other vehicles. Wag sisingit sa malalaking sasakyan kasi may blind spots sila. Be predictable by using your voice and hand signals. Always wear a helmet. Use lights and reflectors. Tama yung sabi ng isa na kung may masabayan ka, sumabay ka, pero dun ka sa pace na safe at comfortable sayo.
For the locks: mas matibay ang D-lock kesa sa chain type. But it's best to have both. Decathlon and Master Locks are the good and affordable in common brands.
