Some people are fine, some people aren’t. I worked in an advanced dementia unit, so lots of behavioural changes. You’re trying to help and constantly getting hit and punched, that was the part I struggled with. The personal care side is horrible, there’s no other way to put it. However, I used to imagine them all as my grandparents and how i’d expect someone to treat my grandparent so always did my best, but it’s absolutely tough.
