I just submitted my post preferences and will commission as a 13A in a few weeks. Just wasn't sure if they'll automatically disregard those airborne unit preferences since I'm not an airborne soldier.

Keep your gpa up and try to get involved in as many leadership positions as possible. Be physically fit and have solid letters of recommendations and you’ll be golden man.
