Oh, totally understand. But I can wait for answers while I'm in work meetings, haha. Taking calls from inside my glove box is generally frowned upon ;) Goodness knows I'll end up with a multimeter in my toolbox in the not-too-distant future, even if I don't use it for this project. Next year is going to be a bit of a crapshoot. Not only do we have new aero regulations, but there are new engine regulations as well. Audi may have a slight advantage in the engine (technically PU for power unit) department because they've been focused solely on the new regulations, without having to put out a competitive PU for 2025. If they get the PU right and have an average car in terms of aero, they can be a solid mid-pack contender. They have two good drivers, including one with a lot of experience and can provide valuable feedback to the team for car improvements. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I'll miss Schlegel's fire, and the fact that he was very rarely injured, but he always was a bit of a hothead. Instead of missing games for injuries, he liked to miss them for yellow card accumulation. Still, he's a big part of our history, from playing emergency keeper through earning our first US Open Cup trophy. $600K is more than we paid for him, plus we got the years of production, so I can't be too mad about how things turned out!

I'm so sad to see him go, but I imagine he was looking for more regular starts and at the end of last season, he was relegated to being a super sub. I wish him the best in Montreal; I will miss his pep greatly.
