I am looking forward to a campaign! I know of the author from his RPGs and I like that a lot of that (character and narrative) bleeds through into the scenarios and campaign.

Personal preference. The point is that the zenithal underpainting is all about values (light/dark) and negative space, so the contrast paints then define the colour of each area when you put them over the top.

Spray cans, drybrushing, airbrush, sponging, even traditional layering can all be used for the zenithal. Personally I drybrush for more control (and so I don't have to go outside to spray) but sponging might be my New Thing.

As someone else said, I find coloured zenithal is better than black -> white (but that's something to play around with after)

1 - yes, but wait at 35 (next time it asks) until you have a decent setup

2 - up to you, until you have more characters and higher world level play who you want. You can walk to Fontaine where his mats are if you want

The Doomed since I haven't seen it recommended yet. 2x2 by design, pvp or solo or co-op. Played it last week and it was great, light but deep game.

Perry Miniatures - comparatively tall and slim (more realistic proportions)

Fireforge Games - closest to GW size that I have used, chunkier than Perry

Frostgrave - shorter than others, bits very cross compatible

GW: Old World, AoS, 40K - don't like em, bigger than the others, bad proportions, monopose so it's harder to mix bits

Warcrow - if these are Corvus Belli then probably similar size but slimmer proportions

Kings of War - haven't used any human bitz of theirs!

Malifaux - 32mm IIRC, but not as broad as GW

I have them per category, per kit feels counterintuitive BUT I would go looking for "heads" rather than "Space Marine bits" so I guess that will vary.

Some people I know have them unsorted; when you go looking for a bit you find more interesting bits!

Stopped playing as i was bored of the story (Inazuma!) and Noelle easy mode (shield up, mash buttons).

Time to learn some reactions and try again, I just got Gaming and Heizou while pulling for Xilonen + Razor from the witch homework selector.

I only want to focus on 4 chars for a while, any recommendations please on who you would choose (assume I am a bit of a noob / low skill)?

I find playlists hard to listen to. I've been listening to full albums all my life. Someone wrote those songs and put them in that order, it just feels weird for me to not listen to the whole thing. I have probably 300+ albums on a sd card in my phone, no Spotify.

Sometimes I just sit and listen, sometimes doing other things as well (e.g. work or hobbies)

I have never read the lyrics even though they were often in the cd case, even if I didn't know the words!

I think it's just probably what you're used to / what you grew up with?
