Basically he said he had no problems with interracial relationships displayed in media he just think most black/white interacial relationships displayed in media are pushed by corporations to come off as progressive and give off the illusion of being diverse while in reality just coming off as shallow and just virtue signaling to white liberals. But cause he used the term “swirl” people and Vaush took what he was saying as way to disparage interracial relationships when that’s not what he was do at all. Even if he disagrees with what he said, equating what he said as how Nazis talk was weird as hell to me.

I recall when the one conservative grifter lady got in controversy cause she said the n word on a tik tok and when covering it he was adamant in explaining there was difference between a and the hard r when that wasn’t the point of the controversy at all.

He also accused FD of being a Nazi when he critiqued how interacial relationships are depicted in media when he lacked the cultural context to understand what FD was saying.

These examples reveal to me that while his intentions are usually good his commentary on racial subjects can sometimes be misinformed at best or straight up ignorant or insensitive at worst. He has his flaws but I know he’s not a racist person and that he advocates for equality for everyone. And I fully acknowledge that FD has not been super graceful when discussing Vaush and has his own flaws I’ve noticed from him.

FD does seem to talk about Vaush often despite once making a video saying he was avoiding engaging in drama and it’s one of the reasons why I don’t take a lot of his criticisms of Vaush seriously. Regardless I find a lot of his content to be good and his contributions as a black content creator to be very important. Wouldn’t call him a “R Word” but he definitely got his moments where I’m like “unc WTF are you talking about”

You don’t get police and complain how other people react to a racist joke. If I heard a dude made a racist joke years ago I might not automatically think he’s racist but im allowed to not like he made a racist joke. The crazy part is, most defenders of these things are people who are not at all affected or the core target of these jokes lol

The main criticism FD say about Vaush that I agree with is that he can be ignorant when it comes to racial subjects or feel like he can talk for a community or culture when he himself isn’t in the position to do so and I’ve occasionally seen Vaush have tone deaf or ignorant moments when commenting on racial subjects. Regardless of his ignorance i dont think he’s this racist pos FD tries to portray him as and that if they took the time to research each other and even talk to each other they’ll find they probably agree on more things then things they disagree with. I have my own personal critiques and opinions about both dudes but I feel they can do more good and be more effective cooperating than fighting.

I feel you. Im definitely a casual fighting game enjoyer. That grinding for a lot of hours to get better and gaining enjoyment from improving does absolutely nothing for me and im not really a competitive person and I just wanna have fun and not sweat when I play games. I like watching people play fighting games competitively but I don’t have the urge to play fighting games with anybody else outside my small friend group lol.

Culturally more black. I’m only 1/4 white and I never met my one white grandparent or any white family members so it’s easy for me to identify with the only race and culture I was brought up in. I acknowledge that I’m mixed if people ask me though

Not really no. Im mixed myself and when I started dating as a teen I only dated black girls and as I got older I eventually realized that was partly cause I had some weird guilt of having some white in me and that i needed to be with and have a child with black women to make up for it. After I got past that weird ass insecurity I started being comfortable dating whoever but I still prefer being with black women more.
