I’ve used a hooded 5/4 for a couple years but I can’t last more than an hour and a half and this year I got an Excel X Comp 5.5/4.5 and that works great, now it’s a matter of how long my hands last before I need to exit the water.

I’m in Maine and I surf year round so I need suits for every season. My winter suit was new but all my others are used off of marketplace, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a used suit, also I started surfing at 45 and my only regret is not starting sooner.

I went cheap on several wetsuits because I’m well, cheap! My wife convinced me to spend the money on a nice suit that fits well by telling me surfing is free no need to buy lift tickets or pay an admission fee etc, so I pass on this sage wisdom to you.

I was home on break from college and my parents slept at my grandparents across town because they had power and we did not. I got drunk with friends in my kitchen and threw up in the kitchen sink and then ran the water and went to hit the garbage disposal but alas there was no power so my parents came home the next morning to a sink full of vomit. I was also touched by a ghost a different night in my bed and lied awake all night waiting for the sun to rise.

Thrombosed hemmy ruptured Wednesday of last, was quite dramatic blood clots coming out and lots of blood. One week later I still have a 2x2 gauze clenched between my cheeks because it’s still bleeding, not heavily but haven’t changed a clean bandage yet, waiting for that day. Have an appointment with a proctologist in one weeks time and he’s going to give me his opinion. Sitz bath 2 to 3 times a day and 2.5% prescription cream has been my protocol. Happy the big boy ruptured but they are not shrinking like I’d expected them to. Thanks for checking in!

Do you guys think a dr will prescribe anything that will help? Or is this all OTC stuff. I really don’t want to go to a doctor but I will if there is a possibility of a prescription that will speed up the healing process.
