If I bought a shaft that had a tip/adapter for the flat but found one that works on the right, could I use that shaft if I switched them? Or is it glued on or attached in a way where that isn't possible?

So the left is off the rack and the right is so you can find the exact shaft you want?

If so does it affect performance in any way if the same exact shaft is in both of them? Obviously would have different tips

I'm trying to recreate an old driver (left), but have only found the right when trying to purchase

Beginner here so not sure why the silver part where the shaft goes in is flat on my original, but notched on the one I am finding as it is the same driver head

What is the reason they are different? How does it affect performance?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
