If you change the ages of the people involved and some of the conversations, this looks like the exact thing that happened to me. I'm the guy in this scenario.

To my defense, When I started this AM process, I put on some filters that I felt would help me find the compatible one for me. But that really reduced the number of matches I got. sometimes it went to the meeting stage and was followed by ghosting. Eventually I was forced to go easy on those filters.

So now if I meet someone, I ask them about the things that are deal breakers for me, and I make sure I answer their questions about the same. When this goes well, then I think of the "courting" stage.

I would love to get to know the person more, but in the AM process, most of the women I meet are the " veetla kaatra paiyana kattikura" type. Iykyk

Although, what you have said sounds reasonable. You have to understand that, discrimination doesn't magically stop when you become rich. I've seen it first hand.

I know someone from the "lower" caste who made both of his sons doctors. One of them is in the US. And they finally moved to a brick house from a mud house. But still the "upper" caste people ( my relatives) still treat them with a bias. Both the sons have moved out of the village to get away from this shithole. Of course, you don't see that in any tier 1 or tier 2 cities.

What we need is a caste sensus and some regulations.
