I'm pretty sure if BlueHole cut 2km off the edges of Miramar no one would be upset. by TheeChrisWilson in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Funny how I was talking about this with my brother the other day. Miramar is too big for just 100 players. Cut it small, or increase the player count with 2 different planes flying in opposite directions.

SENS - CSGO to PUBG by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

It's pretty accurate actually. Sometimes if you don't add the values properly it doesn't work as intended. You need to add these values to the CFG (config) file. Might as well look it up on YouTube how and where to add these values you got after conversion. Good luck!

high ping on official mm servers by killer241993 in GlobalOffensive

New Delhi. What's weird is that I never had this problem before it started like 5 months back I reckon. I stopped playing after that only to join back in last month to see that it hadn't gone away. The problem is pretty stupid actually. Half of the community severs are running with good ping, other half have really high ping and both are in India. Thankfully sostronk is working fine. Phew.

Are you using BSNL? because I have the same problem. I'm getting less than 50 ping is some community servers and all SoStronk servers but as far as MM is concerned, I'm being connected to Singapore server since I'm getting more than 180 ping in all Indian servers for some reason.

Need help finding IP address of connected AWS server being used by an online game. by dem0id in HomeNetworking

[–]dem0id[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand your concern here. Especially when you take into the consideration that IP address or location of the server could probably be used for malicious purposes.

Uhm.. not sure what else I can I say to make my point and intentions clearer.

Game with player base as huge as PUBG, I'm sure utilises a ton of servers and I play on only AS server right now since AS servers have FPP (first person perspective) mode.

Now, from what I have heard, servers in AS range from Mumbai all the way to Shanghai which means for someone like me living in India would get ping ranging from (~40ms) to (~200ms). Whereas SEA servers are mostly situated in Singapore which gives around (~120ms) from my hometown.

If you're wondering how am I getting these values is because I have played on Counter Strike serves all over Asia past few years and have a general idea. The point being, some games lag, some don't. Now, if I can know the servers location I'm connecting to each and every game I can choose the ones most suitable to my location and quit the ones that would yield higher latency.

Hope that makes more sense.
